The wait is finally over for Younger fans as the new season is back. Viewers of the show have been patiently waiting to see what’s next on Liza Miller’s journey and she navigates her way through her career and relationships that were built on a little white lie.

Sutton Foster plays a 40-something woman who pretends to be in her 20s in order to get a job. So with so much focus on age, fans of course have questioned how old the actress really is. Here’s the answer to that, plus Foster dishes on what’s to come on Season 6 of Younger.

Sutton Foster’s age

Sutton Lenore Foster was born on March 18, 1975, in Statesboro, Georgia and raised in Troy, Michigan. Foster is not only an actress but also a singer and dancer. In fact, her first television appearance was as a contestant on the reality competition Star Search when she was 15.

Foster attended Carnegie Mellon University for a year before leaving to pursue a career in acting full-time. In 2002, she landed the role of Millie Dillmount in the stage production Thoroughly Modern Millie and won her first Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

According to her website, Foster has been in nearly a dozen Broadway shows including Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and Anything Goes, which earned her another Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She’s also appeared in the shows Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU, Royal Pains and has played the role of Liza on Younger since the series began in 2015.

What’s in store for the characters in Season 6

The biggest question viewers were left with after the Season 5 finale was what’s going to happen with Charles and Liza. Ever since the show ended with the pair looking concerned and unsure about their future together, fans have been wondering where their relationship is going to go from here.

“There’s definitely tension,” Foster told Entertainment Weekly “Charles isn’t just at home in his PJs eating bonbons. He’s basically where Liza was in Season 1, having nothing and trying to re-establish himself. He’s finding his way back in, but of course that affects his relationship with Liza.”

That is music to the ears for anyone who is Team Josh and actor Nico Tortorella noted that there is definitely some unfinished business between Josh and Liza.

“We’re getting through the Charles stuff that needs to happen right now, but it’s getting boring fast,” he said via Playbill.com. “And Josh and Liza are the end game. I really do think so.”

And there’s another relationship we’re going to see more of on the show this season and that’s Diana and Enzo’s.

When asked is Diana was just settling for Enzo actress Miriam Shor told the New York Post, “It is her struggle, as well as Enzo’s; we do address it this season. The writers have given her this tremendous journey of a love life with someone, Enzo, she would never see herself with. That forces you to constantly examine yourself and who you think you are.”

Season 6 of Younger premieres Wednesday, June 12 at 10 p.m. on TV Land.
