The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has consistently been one of the buzziest runway events since its inception in 1995. Each year, a group of angel-winged models strut showstopping lingerie down the runway. In honor of its return on Oct. 15, here are some of the greatest looks from the fashion show over the years.
Angelika Kallo
During the inaugural Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, model Angelika Kallo wore simple and sporty gray undergarments. The look came together with the help of black leather boots, riding gloves, and oversized sunglasses.
Stephanie Seymour
In 1996, Stephanie Seymour walked the runway in a bridal look. She wore a floor-length tulle dress that opened in the front to show off her white lingerie. She topped off the look with a voluminous tulle veil.
Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell brought vampiric drama to the runway in 1997 in a sheer black ensemble with billowing sleeves and a high, gothic collar. She complemented the look with sheer black stockings and silver jewelry.
