50 Cent shared why he believes Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will like the new series about him

Sean Combs: The Reckoning does not paint the mogul in a good light. Despite this, Jackson has stated that he thinks Combs will appreciate the project simply because it’s about him.

“It shows his full story,” Jackson told Us Weekly. “Puff cares a lot about legacy, everybody knows that.”

While it shows some negative sides of Combs, Jackson said it also details his successes. He believes that at the very least, Combs will appreciate the information it presents.

“This doc doesn’t shy away from any part of it,” he said. “The success, the trauma, the power, the contradictions… all of it. He might not like every single thing that’s said, but I think he’ll respect the scope of it. It’s honest. It’s complete.”

Jackson could be a little off the mark here. Combs’ lawyers have publicly lambasted the project, which indicates that the mogul isn’t happy about it either.

“Netflix’s so-called ‘documentary’ is a shameful hit piece,” Combs’ PR Rep Juda Engelmayer told The Hollywood Reporter. “Today’s GMA teaser confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that was never authorized for release.”

Combs, who is currently serving out a 50-month prison sentence, has not commented on the series. All four episodes are currently streaming on Netflix.
