50 Cent has spent the last year of his life trolling Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on Instagram. Occasionally, he took a break to take a jab at Kanye West, too, but his main focus has been Diddy. It hasn’t always been that way, though. 50 Cent enjoys a good feud and has had more than a few over the years. He’s spent years trading jabs with Ja Rule. He once took his trolling so far that he spent thousands to make the rival rapper’s concert look empty.

50 Cent purchased 200 tickets to a Ja Rule concert just to troll him

50 Cent takes his feuding very seriously. In fact, he seems to consider it an art form. While he’s spent the last several years using social media to voice his opinions, He once trolled Ja Rule in real life. In 2018, 50 Cent purchased 200 tickets to a Ja Rule concert, buying out the four front rows. He made the purchase to ensure the concert looked unpopular and empty.

According to several sources, 50 Cent pulled off the prank for one of Ja Rule’s Arlington, Texas tour dates in November 2018. While Ja Rule insisted 50 was lying, the music artist brought the receipts to prove it. He purchased 200 tickets at $15-$18 each. 50 Cent posted the order confirmation to Instagram after Ja Rule tried to suggest he wasn’t telling the truth. He spent over $3,000 just to ensure Ja Rule’s concert looked empty.

When did the feud begin?

50 Cent and Ja Rule have one of the longest-standing feuds in modern hip-hop history. The feud began in the late 1990s, when Ja Rule accused 50 Cent of being behind a robbery in New York. According to XXL Magazine, Ja Rule was robbed while shooting a video in Queens, and claimed he later saw 50 Cent with the assailant.  50 denied involvement. Later, they both confirmed that they had a physical altercation in Atlanta.

Things got substantially worse when 50 Cent signed with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records. Ja Rule was signed to rival label, Murder Inc. 50 Cent entered his diss track era, taking shots at Ja Rule over and over again. Ja Rule’s career seemed to stall around that time, especially after legal troubles for Murder Inc.

In the 2010s, they took their feud online, trading barbs on social media. 50 attacked Ja Rule mercilessly following the Fyre Festival debacle. Ja Rule tried to shoot back, calling his rival “a  bum.” Things have gone largely quiet more recently, though that seems to be because of a lack of interest rather than a mending of fences. 50 Cent has been busy trolling Diddy, while Ja Rule has been busy trying to rebuild his brand with varying levels of success.
