50 Cent Doesn’t Think Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Sons’ Series About Him Is a ‘Good Idea’
Just a month after Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s documentary series about Sean “Diddy” Combs, the latter’s sons are hoping to share their father’s side of the story in a series of their own. Justin and Christian “King” Combs will release a new series with the Zeus Network in 2026. Jackson responded to the trailer on Instagram, noting that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
50 Cent is questioning the series Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sons made about him
Just weeks after the release of Sean Combs: The Reckoning, Justin and Christian Combs announced a docuseries of their own. They recently released a trailer for the project. It shows the siblings watching footage outside the courthouse where Combs’ trial took place. At the end of the trailer, Justin takes a call from FCI Fort Dix, where Combs is serving out his 50-month sentence.
Combs’ sons have been staunch in their support of their father and hope to share their side of the story in the series. Jackson doesn’t think they should.
He shared the trailer to his Instagram account with the caption, “Wow. I want to see this show. I’m not sure this was a good idea.”
The docuseries does not currently have a release date.
He made his own documentary series about the disgraced mogul
Combs’ legal team slammed Sean Combs: The Reckoning. They criticized Netflix for allowing his longtime rival, Jackson, to produce the series, and claimed that some footage of Combs was stolen. Despite this, Jackson said he felt confident that Combs would like the series.
“It shows his full story,” Jackson told Us Weekly. “Puff cares a lot about legacy, everybody knows that.”
Jackson said that even if Combs didn’t like every moment of the series, he felt that he would respect its honesty and scope.
“This doc doesn’t shy away from any part of it,” he said. “The success, the trauma, the power, the contradictions… all of it. He might not like every single thing that’s said, but I think he’ll respect the scope of it. It’s honest. It’s complete.”
Jackson’s hopes appear to be unfounded, though. Combs and his legal team are reportedly still considering pursuing legal action against Netflix for the series.
50 Cent said he offered Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sons jobs
Jackson claimed that his involvement in Sean Combs: The Reckoning had nothing to do with his longstanding dislike of Combs. He said he has always been wary of Combs, but doesn’t think there’s “beef” between them.
“I think it was my invitation to come hang out [and then he] was like, ‘Oh, let me take you shopping,’” he said. “This is something a man says to a woman he’s interested in, and I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m good.’ That was weird to me, and I was vocal about it being weird. But there’s no beef. He didn’t do one thing to me, I didn’t do one thing to him.”
He added that he hired two of Combs’ sons to work on a television project with him.
“I’ve hired [Combs’ sons] Quincy and Justin to work in scripted television programs,” he said. “Why would I hire them if I hated him?”
