In fact, some of the family’s eligible bachelorettes seem to have a strong preference for NBA stars. With the pro basketball season off and running, let’s look at all of the star athletes the Kardashian and Jenner sisters have dated.

Kim Kardashian has dated multiple celebrity athletes

Kim Kardashian is not picky when it comes to the careers of her men. Fans have witnessed her date musicians, businessmen, comedians, and even Kanye West. Kim has also enjoyed romances with a few star athletes.

Kim rose to fame because of her sex tape with Ray J. However, by the time she got really famous, she had moved on to Reggie Bush, an NFL running back. The couple dated on and off for two years before ultimately splitting. After their breakup, Bush went on to date and marry Lilit Avagyan, an Armenian ballerina who looks a lot like Kim, who is half Armenian.

Kim later dated and married NBA star Kris Humphries. Many fans considered the marriage doomed from the start, noting the couple’s lack of chemistry before even tying the knot. The marriage lasted 72 days. After that, Kim mostly stopped dating star athletes, at least publicly.

Khloé Kardashian has had multiple serious relationships with NBA players

These days, Khloé Kardashian is busy being a mom, running a business, offering advice, and curating an obsessively organized life and home. Still, she makes time to date. Most of the tallest Kardashians’ dating exploits have included celebrity athletes. Khloé has a preference for NBA players.

In 2008, the media linked her to Rashad McCants, a former NBA guard drafted in 2005. The relationship was short-lived. Khloé moved on pretty quickly when she brought Derrick Ward, an NFL running back, to her sister’s birthday party in Mexico. In 2009, she dated and married Lamar Odom within weeks of meeting.

Khloé and Lamar split in 2013 following his very public struggles with drug addiction and infidelity. Despite their dramatic relationship, she helped him through a medical emergency that nearly killed him before ultimately finalizing their divorce in December 2016. He has since made some creepy statements about having a sex doll that looks like his ex.

After finalizing her divorce, Khloé did not swear off NBA stars; instead, she dated a couple more. She had a pretty low-key relationship with James Harden for several months in 2015 and 2016. After the split, the point guard told Sports Illustrated that he wasn’t getting anything out of the romance and hated the attention it brought him.

That same year, Khloé began seeing Tristan Thompson, a Cleveland Cavaliers center. The relationship has been a more intense rollercoaster ride than her marriage to Odom. Thompson has been caught cheating and fathering children outside of the relationship more than once. He cheated on Khloé when she was almost nine months pregnant with their first child. He was caught kissing a family friend and fathered a baby while he and Khloé were working with a surrogate to have their second child.

Kendall Jenner has romanced a couple of hoopsters, too

Kendall Jenner is the quietest of the sisters, opting for a more low-key lifestyle despite modeling in high-end fashion shows. She is also the only member of the Kardashian family who doesn’t have any kids. That doesn’t mean Kendall isn’t actively dating, though. She’s had several high-profile relationships; her most high-profile being with Devin Booker.

Kendall was first connected to the 6-foot-6 guard for the Phoenix Suns in April 2020. They made things official in June 2020 and went Instagram official the following Valentine’s Day. Kendall and Booker have dated on and off since, with several lengthy breaks. They most recently reconciled in February 2025 before splitting again in June, according to AZ Central.

Before her lengthy love affair with Booker, Kendall romanced Jordan Clarkson, Blake Griffin, and Ben Simmons — all NBA players. Jenner was rumored to date Clarkson, a New York Knicks guard, for a few months in early 2016. By the following summer, she moved on to Blake Griffin, but ended that romance to link up with Ben Simmons in 2018. The romance lasted about a year.

Kourtney and Kylie have never pursued professional athletes

While Khloé, Kim, and Kendall all have a thing for star athletes, two Kardashian sisters have steered clear of the sports stars. Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian have very different tastes in men. Neither has seriously dated an athlete.

Kourtney, the oldest of the group, has spent most of her public life in serious relationships. When fans first met her on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she was already deeply involved with Scott Disick. That on-again-off-again romance, which began in 2006, lasted for about a decade. Disick’s actual job has always been a bit of a mystery, but he’s not a professional athlete. After Disick, Kourtney moved on with Younes Bendjima, a French-Algerian model. They dated until 2019 when they split for good. In 2021, she hooked up with Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, after knowing him for years. They wed in 2022.

Kylie Jenner, the baby of the family, seems to have a thing for creatives. She’s had high-profile romances with rapper Tyga, whom she began dating when she was underage, before she started seeing Travis Scott, also a music artist. Jenner and Scott had two children together before splitting for good. She has been seeing actor Timothée Chalamet since early 2023.
