At the very least, that’s what a lip reader thinks the newly-founded duo was discussing at the Super Bowl. Cameras caught what appeared to be an awkward conversation between the pair. According to experts, the subject matter was far from light.

The Super Bowl seems like a weird place to discuss the seriousness of one’s relationship. Still, that is exactly what Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton were discussing during their recent outing to the big game. At least that’s what a lip reader thinks they were chatting about. Nicola Hickling, a lip reader who spoke with the Daily Mail, claims that the cameras caught a very awkward moment between the pair.
According to Hickling, Hamilton was telling Kim Kardashian that not just anyone meets his mom. She claims he said, “No, I don’t take just any girl to my mom, I mean you’re gonna meet someday, she is very excited to see you,” as the camera landed on them. Kim, for her part, appeared to size up the situation before simply replying “okay.” The look on her face, however, suggested his proclamation was anything but “okay.”
It’s unclear what happened before the camera landed on them to lead to such an odd conversation. At the end of the day, though, it probably doesn’t matter. If Hamilton is already batting down Kardashian’s attempt to move the relationship along, we can assume their days as a duo are numbered.

A couple of years later, Hamilton vacationed with the Kardashian family, though Kim was married to Kanye West at the time. In 2023, rumors that they were dating surfaced after they linked up at multiple fashion events, but nothing came of it. They consistently insisted they were just friends. This time around, though, things appear to be serious. Kim and Lewis spent a weekend together in the United Kingdom earlier this month, and now he’s joined her at the Super Bowl. Whether they actually make it official or not probably depends on several factors.
