Alexe Godin Says ‘Good Friend’ Jeremy Simon Ghosted Her After ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Premiere
Alexe Godin was a fan favorite heading into Bachelor in Paradise. As the season wraps up, she’s fallen from grace, with fans taking to social media in droves to lambast her for failing to tell Bailey Brown about Jeremy Simon’s shady behavior. Alexe has repeatedly defended herself, insisting she was better friends with Jeremy at the time and was confident he’d come clean with Bailey. It sounds like Alexe is beginning to second-guess that thought process. The Bachelor Nation alum just revealed that Jeremy has essentially ghosted her since leaving Costa Rica, despite the former friends speaking nearly daily in the lead-up to filming the reality TV series.
Alexe Godin has been getting heat for her role in the Bailey Brown and Jeremy Simon saga
Alexe Godin has received a fair amount of criticism for the role she played in keeping Bailey Brown in the dark about Jeremy Simon’s interest in Susie Evans. Bachelor in Paradise fans have largely argued that Alexe Godin wasn’t a “girl’s girl” for keeping the secret and suggested she should have told Bailey, as they appeared to be good friends. Alexe just appeared on Bachelor Happy Hour and insisted that there was a lot of context missing from the dramatic storyline.
Alexe said she and Jeremy had spoken consistently over the month leading up to leaving for filming. She revealed that, at the time, she largely considered Jeremy her “best friend” and had only just begun to get to know Bailey, despite appearing on the same season of The Bachelor. Because of her connection to Jeremy, she felt confident that he would clear things up with Bailey himself. She also felt a sense of loyalty to him. She also said that he lied to her about the severity of his tantrum over Susie.
She’s probably second-guessing that decision now
Alexe insisted she was confident that, at the time, she and Jeremy were good friends. She’s clearly rethinking that stance now. During her podcast appearance, Alexe claimed Jeremy had basically ghosted her. She said she reached out to him when the Susie saga aired and didn’t receive anything back. At the very least, she received no communication that would be considered noteworthy. She said she certainly never received an apology from him. His post-show behavior has left her questioning whether he’s someone she’d want to have in her life. Though from the sounds of it, that’s not on the table anyway.

Alexe didn’t go too in-depth about the situation. That might not be the end of things, though. Bachelor in Paradise fans might still get the chance to learn more. A Bachelor in Paradise reunion will be filmed in the coming weeks. Jeremy even asked his Instagram followers if he should attend. Over 80% of respondents advised him to participate in the reunion special. We suspect he’s contractually obligated to do so regardless. Perhaps everyone will finally clear the air.
Alexe did not reveal whether the couple is together, but ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ sleuths believe they are
While there was plenty of drama between Bailey and Jeremy while on the show, they’ve apparently navigated the trouble and are a couple in real life, or, at the very least, they tried their relationship out on dry land. While Alexe didn’t mention their relationship status, Reality Steve insists that Jeremy and Bailey are very much together. There have been plenty of hints, too.

The pair both posted to their Instagram Stories from Portugal simultaneously, indicating they were vacationing together. They were also spotted out and about in New York earlier this month. Jeremy and Bailey have both been focusing their Bachelor in Paradise photos on couple shots, as well. The online behavior certainly suggests they are currently together, but only time will tell.
