Over the years, Andy Cohen has had only a couple of confirmed romances, and nothing particularly salacious has been revealed. That doesn’t mean he never opens up, though. Recently, he got a little R-rated on a podcast. Andy Cohen admitted that before Grindr, he used Craigslist to find his next hookup, though none of them turned into serious relationships, it seems.

The talk show host and Bravo executive recently sat down with Alex Cooper for a chat on Call Her Daddy. During the convo, Cohen, who seems to be perpetually single, admitted he is currently on “all of the dating apps.” It appears that he is not leaving his romantic life to chance right now, but as he chatted further, he admitted that he was never one to let meetings happen organically.
Andy Cohen told Cooper that he often found hookups via Craigslist before dating apps became a thing. He joked that the website, now known for real estate scams and free furniture, was where his generation of singles went to find sexual partners before the rise of Tinder and Grindr. He has since left Craigslist behind, but so has everyone else. The website’s once-robust missed connections and dating classifieds sections are merely a shadow of their former selves.
It isn’t the first time he has discussed his pre-app exploits
While Andy Cohen’s appearance on Call Her Daddy is the first time he directly likened Craigslist to Grindr, he has mentioned using the website as a dating tool, of sorts, before. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live in 2024, he revealed that he knew Sydney James Harcourt, an actor best known for portraying Aaron Burr in Hamilton, in the “biblical sense.”
Cohen revealed that he met Harcourt years ago. He said they had a significant “lust affair” before parting ways. As for how they found each other? Cohen admitted that he met Harcourt on Craigslist before dating apps became ubiquitous. Harcourt, who appears to be single at the moment, has never commented on his connection to Cohen.
