Anna Duggar’s current living accommodations are a mystery. No one seems to know where the Duggar-in-law rests her head at night. What we do know is that a home she sold right before her husband was convicted of receiving and possessing child pornography is back on the market. Its current owner is hoping to profit big from the sprawling estate Josh and Anna Duggar planned to call home.

Josh and Anna sold off a sprawling property while his criminal trial loomed

Josh and Anna Duggar had a lot going on in 2021. Josh’s arrest on child pornography charges upended the entire Duggar family and sent them scrambling. In the lead-up to his trial, Josh and Anna attempted to sell off some real estate holdings, including the house they planned to renovate and live in before Josh was charged.

The couple struggled to sell the land but eventually did find a buyer. A private couple purchased the property, which included five acres of land and a neglected but large home, in September 2021, just weeks before Josh’s trial began. The house, which was initially owned by Jim Bob Duggar, was sold by Soli Deo Gloria, LLC, a limited liability company owned by Anna Duggar. According to property records, the couple settled for just $450,000. The property was initially listed for sale at $799,000.

The house is back on the market

It has been a few years since Anna Duggar stepped inside the home she was supposed to live in. She can see how the renovations turned out online, though. The house she sold in 2021 through her LLC is officially back on the market.

According to Trulia, the home, which includes nearly 8,000 square feet of living space, has been completely remodeled. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom house has a heated pool and hot tub. The five acres of land include multiple outdoor spaces for friends and family to enjoy a view of the city below. The current owners are hoping to recoup their renovation costs and make a profit. They have listed the property for $2,598,000.

Where were Anna and Josh Duggar living when he was arrested?

Anna and Josh were planning to move into a new home with their children before federal agents busted him for possessing child sexual abuse materials. Josh even mentioned the home and planned renovations while talking to federal agents who raided his car lot. The couple had previously sold a farmhouse in 2019, presumably to finance the renovations on the sprawling estate close to his hometown.

While the long-married couple had real estate plans, it wasn’t meant to be. Josh was legally connected to the Springdale, Arkansas, property that was later sold. Still, he and his family weren’t yet living at the address. Anna, Josh, and the six children they shared at the time were residing inside a converted warehouse on the Duggar family property when the arrest happened. After making bail, Josh moved off the Tontitown compound and into the home of a court-appointed chaperone while awaiting trial. The daughter of those chaperones went to marry Anna Duggar’s brother.

After his guilty verdict in December 2021, Josh was remanded to Washington County Detention Center to await sentencing. He was moved to FCI Seagoville in June 2022 after being sentenced to over a decade behind bars. Anna’s whereabouts since Josh’s sentencing have been a bit of a mystery. Rumors are swirling that Jim Bob Duggar recently purchased a $1 million home to house Anna and her seven children. Still, that has not been confirmed. Josh will be in FCI Seagoville until 2032.
