Ariel Fulmer Reveals If She’s Forgiven Ned Fulmer For Cheating: ‘No. F–k No.’
Ariel Fulmer appeared in the premiere episode of Ned Fulmer’s new podcast, Rock Bottom. While her appearance would suggest she and Fulmer worked through the betrayal of his Try Guys cheating scandal and came out the other side as a stronger, more loving couple, that’s not what happened. While Ned Fulmer alluded to the notion that they were still together in a previous episode, Ariel set the record straight, revealing that they are no longer a romantic couple and she does not forgive him for what he did.
A brief overview of the 2022 Try Guys cheating scandal
In September 2022, fans spotted Ned Fulmer, one of the group’s founding members, looking way too cozy with Alexandria Herring, who served as a producer for Fulmer’s co-owned company. The very public romantic moment exposed a long-term affair. Ned, who had built his on-screen persona around being a devoted husband and father, admitted to having a “consensual workplace relationship” in an Instagram apology. He has since deleted that apology.
Not long after the scandal broke, The Try Guys, including Keither Habersberger, Eugene Lee Yang, and Zach Kornfeld, announced that Fulmer was no longer part of the group. They made the announcement via Instagram initially and later posted a lengthy YouTube video about the situation. Fulmer’s involvement with a subordinate jeopardized the company and all who worked there. Not only was Ned’s employment terminated, but his friendship with his fellow founders was, too. He was scrubbed from all videos moving forward.
Ned, along with his wife, slipped into the shadows, handling their private life discreetly. That is where they have stayed, until now. A return to the public eye, however, does not mean there has been a return to life as fans once knew it for the pair. The opposite is true, it seems.
Ariel Fulmer has not forgiven her ex
While Ariel Fulmer is moving on with her life and co-parenting with Ned Fulmer, she’s not about to forgive him. The designer sat down with her famous ex to discuss the betrayal on Rock Bottom. In an honest, raw, and frankly, empowering moment, she revealed she does not forgive Ned. Ariel revealed that when people ask her if she’s forgiven Ned, she tells them, “The answer is no. Absolutely not. How can you forgive somebody for lying to you? For cheating on you. No. F— no.”
While Ned and Ariel have gone through counseling together and found common ground on which to raise their two children, romance is not on the table. The couple is no longer together, though they have spent time together and have traveled with their kids. Ariel even mentioned dating again, which suggests the marriage is long over.
Ned and Ariel Fulmer met in 2010 and married in 2012. They welcomed their first child, Wesley, together in 2018. Their second son, Finn, was born in 2020.
Did Ned Fulmer fumble his reentry into public life?
Ned’s reentry into the public eye has been bumpy. While the theme of his first podcast episode was going to be awkward no matter what, he started off on the wrong foot a full day before the premiere episode was released. Ahead of the premiere, Ned sat down with People to discuss his life and what has been going on in the years that he’s been away from the limelight. Naturally, the topic of Ariel and their tumultuous marriage came up.
While the former internet personality didn’t exactly lie, he was extremely evasive. He worded his answer carefully, never giving away whether he and Ariel remained a romantic couple or if they had parted ways. His wording even hinted at the possibility that they were working on their romance. Hours later, an insider told TMZ that the Fulmers were living separately after Ned was spotted out with a mystery woman. The lack of transparency didn’t go over well with fans who are still feeling a bit burned by the downfall of the Try Guy’s “wife guy.”
