Teen Mom star Ashley Jones has had plenty of drama of her own over the last 12 months. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have time to weigh in on what her former castmates are up to. Jones recently took to social media to verbally destroy Amber Portwood for her recent TikTok Live appearances and her overall behavior. Jones doesn’t just have a problem with Portwood, though. The reality TV personality has some questions for Amber Portwood’s psychiatric care, too.

Ashley Jones is over Amber Portwood’s regular TikTok Lives

Ashley Jones is ready to give it to Amber Portwood straight. While the world has watched Portwood use TikTok as her sounding board for months, Jones is drawing a line. The reality TV star ripped into her former costar using the platform. She said that Portwood is using TikTok to troll her teenage daughter, and act like a victim.

Jones also accused the mother of two of being high during her most recent online spirals. Jones is imploring Amber Portwood to get up and do something different. Still, it seems the Las Vegas resident has some concerns about the mental healthcare Portwood, who has written an entire book on her mental health struggles, is receiving.

Ashley Jones has other concerns about Amber Portwood and seems genuinely concerned about the treatment the former reality TV star is actually receiving. In her TikTok chat, Jones pointed out that Portwood continues to see a child psychiatrist despite being a woman in her 30s. Jones suggested that adults and children should be treated differently by psychiatrists and called into question the appropriateness of Portwood’s longstanding working relationship with the doctor.

Jones pointed out that perhaps it’s time to seek out treatment from a provider who works with adults, as what Portwood is currently doing isn’t working for her. Exasperated, Jones said, “The fact that you sat on that couch for 16 plus years and you’re still seeing a pediatric psychologist, what the f**k is really going on?”

What is Amber Portwood diagnosed with?

Amber Portwood has been on Teen Mom since she was just 18 years old. The series has covered a lot of her life. Her mental health troubles have been heavily featured on the series. Her addiction issues have also been a key focus of Portwood’s storyline. She’s been fairly open about her diagnosis, too.

While no doctors have spoken out, Portwood has stated she has a dual diagnoiss. She said she has been diagnosed with both bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. According to several sources, bipolar disorder, a mood disorder, and borderline personality disorder, a personality disorder, have some overlapping symptoms. The two disorders are different, though. While they can co-occur, it is not particularly common. Portwood manages her mental health conditions with medication, although fans have raised concerns about how well she may be managing the conditions on her own.
