Aubrey O’Day Says Diddy Is Using His Kids for ‘Optics’: ‘Daddy’s Being Selfish’
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial for sex trafficking and racketeering began earlier this month, but viewers haven’t gotten a glimpse of the disgraced rap mogul aside from a few courtroom sketches. They have seen his children walking in and out of the courtroom to show their support, though. Aubrey O’Day, who just revealed she won’t be testifying against Diddy, isn’t showing up in court. Still, she’s willing to offer her opinions. During a recent podcast appearance, O’Day suggested Diddy has his kids showing up in court for “better optics.” She didn’t mince words, insisting that the music producer is selfish.
Aubrey O’Day thinks Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is using his kids
Aubrey O’Day won’t be in the courtroom for Diddy’s trial, but she’s happy to discuss her thoughts on the situation. O’Day has been outspoken about Diddy for years, and she won’t clam up now. She recently sat down for an interview on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ podcast, Amy and T.J., and discussed all things Diddy.
O’Day has a pretty strong opinion regarding his kids being in the courtroom. O’Day condemned Diddy for allowing his kids to sit through the trial. She said she can’t imagine a father who would want their children to hear the things Diddy’s kids are listening to right now, including his sexual proclivities and his violent nature.
O’Day thinks she knows why Diddy is allowing the kids to sit in, even as Cassie Ventura took the stand. She told Robach and Holmes that she believes “Daddy’s being selfish,” and is using his children for “better optics” during the trial. In short, O’Day thinks Diddy is using his children to project a “family man” persona.
