‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Golden Ladies Out Gary Levingston As a Player
Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise included a handful of more mature contestants, like Gary Levingston. Sourcing individuals from season 1 of The Golden Bachelor and season 1 of The Golden Bachelorette, producers probably hoped to see a touch of emotional maturity and less drama from the older contestants. According to a few goldens, that’s not what happened. While viewers didn’t get to see it, the ladies are talking, and they are outing Gary Levingston as something of a player.

Nancy Hulkower only appeared in a single episode on Bachelor in Paradise. She did not receive a rose and was shipped out of paradise almost as quickly as she arrived. The Virginia native has some pretty intense feelings about that fact, especially because she felt certain she’d receive a rose from Gary Levingston. Nancy opened up about the situation during a recent appearance on Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour.
During Hulkower’s chat with her “besties,” Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts, she claimed she and Gary Levingston were regularly in contact leading up to Bachelor in Paradise. She said once she arrived, they further established their connection. During their date, she asked him about his connection to Leslie, and she said he told her he was not romantically interested in the Minnesota native. She went on to insist he told her he had been “waiting” for her.
Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts both insisted they were innsensed when Gary opted to give his rose to Leslie Fhima over Nancy Hulkower. He never went into detail about why he made the choice. Still, many Bachelor in Paradise fans believed the duo had genuine chemistry and appeared interested in each other. It seems Nancy, Susan, and Kathy all think he’s a player, though.
Regardless, Gary and Leslie didn’t get to spend too long on the series, though. They were booted after the very first couple’s challenge. Still, their connection is growing even without the show.

Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts took Gary’s rejection of Nancy Hulkower hard for some reason. So hard, in fact, that they didn’t cover exactly where Gary stood with the woman with whom he was kicked out of paradise. Gary and Leslie left Costa Rica after a shocking turn of events during a couple’s challenge. So, are they together? Not exactly.
They seemed interested in continuing their connection in the real world. It seems they have, though things don’t appear to be romantic just yet. Leslie and Gary reunited for a getaway in Lake Tahoe recently. While they looked cozy, neither has updated fans on their relationship status. During a previous visit to Bachelor Happy Hour, Leslie emphasized the focus she puts on building a foundation of friendship in her relationships. With that being said, she did note she spoke with Gary daily.
