Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley walked away from Bachelor in Paradise season 10 very much in love and with enough money to make Edwards’ move to Texas a breeze. The duo was together from day one and remained committed to each other throughout the competition. While they ultimately left Costa Rica engaged, Edwards seemed a bit reluctant at first to commit. That apparently is no longer an issue. Jess Edwards recently revealed when she and Spencer Conley will likely begin planning their wedding. It’s not right away, but it’s soon enough.

The season 10 ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ prize was complicated

This season of Bachelor in Paradise, which included a $500,000 cash prize, offered plenty of twists and turns, but the final money distribution was especially complicated. Because a “jury of peers” voted for Spencer and Jess to enter the finals, instead of allowing Alexe and Andrew to take the win, they started off with the money split. Each couple had the chance to win $250,000, but they had to pass a test first.

Separated from their partners, each contestant was told they had to choose whether they wanted to leave paradise with money or love. If both individuals in a couple chose love, they met up at a villa. They learned, after the fact, that they would get to open an envelope together that included a cash prize. If one picked love while the other picked money, the one who picked love left with nothing, while their money-hungry counterpart walked away with $250,000. If they both opted to forgo love for money, they left with nothing.

In the end, both couples opted for love, with Alexe and Andrew leaving with a $125,000 cash prize. The duo plans to use the cash to pay off Alexe’s student loans. Spencer and Jess also opted for love, leaving paradise engaged and with a prize of $190,000. The money will be used to start their new life together.

So, when will Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley get married?

Spencer Conley and Jess Edwards could start planning a wedding tomorrow if they want to. After all, the money they won would ensure they have an absolutely beautiful ceremony and reception. While they could do that, they won’t be doing that. The duo recently opened up about their future plans in a chat with Us Weekly. The couple explains that they aren’t exactly rushing down the aisle.

Jess Edwards revealed that she and Spencer Conley don’t yet have a wedding “timeline,” but she could realistically see them beginning to plan the event “this time next year.” Not only would that allow the couple time to grow into their relationship, but Jess should be settled in Dallas at that point. Jess, who is originally from Tennessee, has been living in San Diego but will be moving to Dallas to be with Spencer. She said the move is planned for the beginning of 2026.
