A mansion that once served as a filming location for The Bachelorette and other reality television series is now on the market. The enormous estate spans over 100 acres. Here’s a look at the pricey home with a history in reality television.

Hummingbird Nest Ranch is an equestrian ranch in California’s Simi Valley. The 17,000-square-foot Spanish Colonial villa sits on 124 acres. It has several guest houses, apartments, barns, a polo field, olive groves, and vineyards. One of the guesthouses is called Sitting Bull Cottage. It is over 100 years old, making it one of the oldest homes in the area.

The home’s current owner is billionaire Kieu Hoang, who made his money in plasma-derived medicine products. He purchased the home for $33 million in 2015, and admitted he viewed it as a “trophy” home (per the Wall Street Journal). He said he wanted to sell it to focus on renewable energy.

Hoang rents the home out for events. He also rented it out for filming. The Biggest Loser and Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette filmed on the property. Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette — which was mired in controversy before ABC pulled it this month — did not film here.

Hoan said potential buyers can use the $78 million property for a variety of purposes.

“It could be used, sort of like a personal residence, maybe a place to have parties, something to show off, like a nice car,” he said.

The home has 57 bedrooms and 40 bathrooms. Sotheby’s International Realty, which listed the home, said the new owners can use it for hotel, casitas, conference center, and hospitality purposes.
