Frankel recently revealed she had a romantic connection to Aniston’s new boyfriend, Jim Curtis, about a decade ago, and she gives his new romance her stamp of approval. She thinks Curtis and Aniston make a lot of sense together.

Bethenny Frankel didn’t have a serious relationship with Jim Curtis. She spent enough time with him to get a sense of who he is, though. The former The Real Housewives of New York City opened up about her thoughts on his romance with Jennifer Aniston on her podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel. During her Sept. 3 episode, Frankel revealed that she had dated the wellness coach currently linked to Aniston briefly about a decade ago. She called Curtis a “nice guy.”
She went on to insist that she thinks the duo makes a lot of sense together. Frankel says that while Aniston is clearly as successful as is humanly possible, she has a “mellow” and earthy vibe that she thinks matches Curtis’ personality. While she insists she didn’t delve deeply into his career path, she seemed to suggest that he entered the wellness space in an honest way, noting that something “life-altering” had happened to him that led him into a wellness career. She said he had an “earthiness” to him.
In the end, she gave the romance her seal of approval and is clearly rooting for the couple. She called Curtis very “kind,” which will certainly make Aniston’s fans a bit more optimistic that this love affair could go the distance. Aniston has been largely labeled unlucky in love after two marriages ended in divorce. She insists she doesn’t see it that way and remains optimistic that love is out there. Still, she has admitted she find relationships difficult.

In the past, she has had high-profile relationships with the late Dennis Shields and Paul Brennon. She’s also been married twice. Her first marriage, to Peter Sussman, lasted for less than a year. They split in 1997. In 2010, she married Jason Hoppy. They separated two years later, but took a decade to finalize their divorce. Hoppy and Frankel share one child.
