Bethenny Frankel’s Instagram account is a versatile mix of content, but her reviews are considered some of her best work. Frankel is raw, humorous, and honest in her assessment, and fans love how genuinely offended she gets by a bad product. Still, does she take it too far sometimes? Revolution Beauty probably thinks so. Frankel recently released her latest thoughts on this year’s beauty Advent calendars, but she still has 2024 on her mind. As it turns out, Frankel is still salty about what Revolution Beauty offered consumers last year.

Bethenny Frankel roasted Revolution Beauty for their 2024 Advent calendar

When Bethenny Frankel doesn’t like something, she really doesn’t like it. The reality TV star-turned-influencer also apparently holds a grudge. She recently took a swipe at Revolution Beauty for their 2024 Advent calendar. It’s not the first time she roasted the brand, either.

Last year, she absolutely dressed down Revolution Beauty for its subpar Advent calendar packaging. The Bravo alum shared a video of herself opening the calendar, with boxes falling out. Nothing was secured. While the products were full-sized and acceptable, the presentation left much to be desired.

This year, Frankel once again opened some Advent calendars on Instagram, but quipped that Revolution Beauty was still in therapy, working on their calendar. She joked that Santa Claus was at their house helping out before imploring them not to “embarrass” her this year. Despite the joke, she didn’t seem to get her hands on the revamped holiday product. At least, she’s yet to post about it.

Frankel wasn’t disappointed in other companies this year

Bethenny Frankel might still be feeling salty about the 2024 Revolution Beauty Advent calendar, but she seems to be having better luck this year. In the same video where she mentioned that Revolution Beauty was still in therapy over last year’s debacle, she raved about Beckman 1802’s festive offering, calling the calendar the “goat” of Advent calendars. She was also a fan of NudeStix’s blush-focused Advent calendar and L’Oreal Paris’ holiday offering. L’Oréal opted for a healthy mix of makeup, skincare, and haircare products.

The skincare brand known for bringing goats onto TV broadcasts to peddle their wares was clearly her favorite, though. They offered a calendar filled with full-size products. While we have to agree that the Beckman 1802 holiday lineup was especially pretty and well-packaged, it’s impossible to compare it to anything Revolution Beauty offered; the price points were completely different. Beckamn 1802’s calendar, which sold out almost instantly, retailed at $199. Revolution Beauty returned for a redo this year with a calendar that retailed for $65, though it’s now on sale at several retailers.
