Bethenny Frankel Shares an Interesting Theory About Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance
Nancy Guthrie is still missing. As police piece together what may have happened in the early morning hours of February 1, everyone from internet sleuths to celebrities is sharing their theories about what might have motivated someone to abduct the 84-year-old woman from her bed. Bethenny Frankel, famed for her time on The Real Housewives of New York City, has an interesting theory about the motivation behind the abduction. She thinks a jealous coworker could be to blame.
Bethenny Frankel has a theory about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance
Bethenny Frankel has been following the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie just like the rest of the world. She’s apparently not immune to coming up with her own theories, either. The former Bravo star recently took to Instagram to float her own theory about the octogenerians disapparence and ask a few questions.
In a recent Reel, Frankel wondered if the person responsible for Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance could somehow be connected to Savannah Guthrie’s early career as a reporter in Arizona. Frankel posits that Savannah’s later success might have made a former coworker or professional peer jealous enough and resentful enough to pull off the abduction of Nancy. She noted that the ransom note writer appeared “articulate” and included information about the family, suggesting familiarity. Frankel also theorized that the abductor had knowledge of the local news stations. She asked her followers to weigh in.
There have been dozens of theories about what happened to Nancy Guthrie floated in recent weeks. Still, online followers appear to fall into one of three camps. They either think Guthrie’s abduction was carried out by a family member, is connected to drug cartels, or is directly linked to the fact that Savannah Guthrie is a high-profile reporter.
Where is the investigation at this point?
It has been nearly two weeks since the mother of Savannah Guthrie was last seen alive and well. The initial investigation focused on the importance of quickly locating the elderly woman, given her medical fragility. That still seems to be a concern. Yet, police and the family seem to remain hopeful that Nancy Guthrie is alive. Still, police seem no closer to finding her.
As the investigation continues, authorities are seeking the public’s help. According to News 4 Tucson, authorities are requesting Ring camera footage from residents in the Catalina foothills. They are particularly interested in footage from the evening of January 31 and the morning of that day. They have also expanded their search. Along with all of that, the authorities have released a more detailed description of the man seen on Nancy Guthrie’s Ring doorbell camera just before she disappeared. The man seen is believed to be the kidnapper.
