Beyoncé Debuts Earrings During Cowboy Carter Tour That Cost More Than a House
Beyoncé‘s current Cowboy Carter tour in Houston has made lots of headlines. One was for the scary “technical” mishap during the first night of her sold-out show at NRG Stadium.
As the superstar performed her song “16 Carriages,” the car prop she was seated in high above the crowd began to tilt. Fans who posted video of the set on social media became horrified when Bey called out: “Stop, stop, stop, stop.”
She was soon lowered safely down to the stage, and the show continued. After the incident, fans tried to shift their focus back to Queen Bey’s incredible performances and the stunning jewelry she was wearing, which included a bolo‑tie pendant featuring a 14.46‑carat black diamond and dazzling horseshoe earrings.
The diamond and fine jewelry experts at U.K. retailer Steven Stone took a closer look at those stunning horseshoe earrings that are estimated to cost more than a small house.
“Beyoncé is no stranger to show-stopping custom jewels, and the horseshoe earrings she debuted during her Texas show truly stole the spotlight,” Maxwell Stone told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “Designed by Lorraine Schwartz, the bespoke earrings feature a striking vertical trio of horseshoes, masterfully crafted in platinum and encrusted with brilliant-cut diamonds.
“More than just a statement piece, the design pays homage to Beyoncé’s Southern roots, blending Western symbolism, glamour, and personal power — the perfect emblem for her Cowboy Carter era. Likely to be worth around $180,000, these dazzling earrings aren’t just accessories, they’re icons in their own right.”
