Beyoncé and Jay-Z Own More Real Estate Than Any Other Celebrity
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the wealthiest celebrity couple, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they also own more in real estate than any other celebrity. Beyoncé recently became a billionaire, joining her husband and just a handful of other musicians at this level of wealth. They’ve used their considerable funds to purchase seven properties valued at $500 million.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z own millions in real estate
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have the largest celebrity real estate portfolio in the world. A 2025 study by Highland Cabinetry looked at the real estate holdings of 20 celebrities (via Rolling Out). They solely examined residential properties, not commercial ones. The study found that the celebrity couple owns seven properties, totaling $500 million in value.
The couple owns an $88 million mansion in Bel Air. They recently took out a $57.75 million mortgage on this property. They also purchased the $17 million property next door to this home, reportedly because they plan to bulldoze it and expand their lawn. The stars also own a $190 million estate in Malibu, which broke records as the most expensive property in California history.
On the opposite coast, Beyoncé and Jay-Z own a seven-bedroom home in East Hampton. The 1.9-acre property sits on Georgica Pond. They also own a condo in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. In 2008, they hosted their wedding in the unit.
The couple also still appears to own a historic mansion in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District. While it went up for sale in 2021, property records showed that Sugarcane Park LLC, the couple’s company, still owned it in 2023.
Recently, the couple looked internationally for a new property. They purchased a 58-acre estate in the Cotswolds and reportedly plan to utilize a special exemption clause to build a seven-bedroom home.
