Beyoncé and Jay-Z Are Reportedly Paying Over $600,000 a Month for Their Home After Taking Out a Second Mortgage
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are worth a tremendous amount of money, but they’re also spending a great deal of it. The couple reportedly recently took out another mortgage on their Bel Air mansion — one of several homes — and their monthly expenses have gone up. The cost of two mortgages plus property taxes is steep.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly paying a huge amount every month for their home
In 2017, Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought a sprawling home in Bel Air for $88 million. The 300,000 square foot mansion has eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, four swimming pools, and a 15-car garage. This is not their only home in California; in 2023, they bought a $200 million home in Malibu.
According to The Daily Mail, the couple borrowed $52.8 million to purchase the Bel Air home. In 2021, they refinanced it for the same amount. They reportedly have recently taken out another $57.75 million mortgage, pushing up their total borrowing amount to $110 million.
They reportedly pay $226,901 per month, and will add $310,000 per month with the second mortgage. The property taxes on the home are roughly $100,343. This means that, every month, they spend $637,244 on the house.
Outside of their two California homes, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have also owned homes in New York, New Orleans, and Miami.
