Beyoncé Wore Her Outfit Backwards to Kris Jenner’s Birthday Party and No One Said a Word
If you saw someone at a party and their outfit was on backwards, would you tell them? And would you’re answer change if that person was Beyoncé?
Well, over the weekend at Kris Jenner’s big 70th birthday bash, held at Jeff Bezos’ $175 million mansion, the “Drunk in Love” singer did have her dress on backwards. Bey attended the party with her husband Jay-Z. So some are wondering if she accidentally put her dress on the wrong way, why didn’t the rapper just let his wife know that before they left the house?
Well, turns out there’s a reason for that.
Beyoncé and Jay joined a slew of other celebs at Bezos’ Beverly Hills estate to celebrate the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, including Mariah Carey, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Alicia Keys, Naomi Watts, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Adele, Chris Rock, Ciara, Vin Diesel, Snoop Dogg, La La Anthony, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Bruno Mars, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and Tyler Perry. Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, was also there as she arrived after her daughter and son-in-law.
Queen Bey and her mother were featured in a carousel of photos Kris shared with the three women smiling together as they posed for the camera.
“One of the very best nights of my entire life. I am beyond blessed and so very grateful for my precious family and friends!” Mama Kris captioned the snaps.
Beyoncé looked stunning in a $6,000 black Fendi mink-trimmed minidress. But some fans who checked out the exact dress on the company’s website noticed that the star had it on backwards. However, that appeared intentional on Bey’s part.
The front of the dress is a crew neck, while the back is a deep plunging V-neck. So the songstress switched it around, putting the V in the front. She added a sheer mesh bodysuit and matching mesh gloves to the ensemble. The “Texas Hold ‘Em” artist also donned plenty of Messika diamonds with her look.
Bey rocked the brand’s White Midnight Sun necklace, which features over 2,400 stones with a huge 3.55-carat pear-shaped diamond in the center. She had a Mille Feux necklace and a So Move Max choker on as well, and quite a few Messika rings, bracelets, and a pair of pavé earrings.
Many attributed all those diamonds to Beyoncé keeping with the party’s James Bond theme with the movie Diamonds Are Forever.

After the party, Knowles talked about what a great time she had and shared the same pic from the party Kris did with the caption: “Saturday night we attended the Birthday party of Kris Jenner it was such a fun party. One of the best I’ve ever been to, the decor was beautiful, the music was jamming from Bruno Mars to one of the best DJ sets ever, to delicious food, and people dancing, laughing, and having fun. Kris looked gorgeous and felt the love and the celebration of her life. Happy Birthday, Kris.”
