Brandi Glanville Has a Diagnosis for the Facial Disfigurement She Initially Blamed on ‘Stress’ From the Caroline Manzo Fiasco
Brandi Glanville has spent the last few years navigating medical issues. After she was labeled a sexual predator by Caroline Manzo and dropped by Bravo, Glanville experienced serious, yet mysterious, medical troubles. Initially, she blamed the stress of the fiasco for causing intermittent swelling in her face. Now, she’s stepped out and revealed she has an official diagnosis and is on her way to healing. She’s still being pretty coy about what is actually going on.
Brandi Glanville’s health troubles started in 2023
Brandi Glanville traveled to Morocco in 2023 to film The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip. Traveling to film the series was Glanville’s first big mistake. While filming, she was accused of sexual assault and harassment by Caroline Manzo. Manzo claimed Glanville cornered her in a bathroom and kissed and groped her. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum and Glanville both left the trip early. Manzo has since filed a lawsuit against Bravo.
Glanville claims her medical troubles began immediately following the trip. It all began with intermittent facial swelling. In July 2023, she said she had been diagnosed with stress-induced angiodemia. She said Manzo’s allegations and Bravo’s decision to cut ties with her led to the diagnosis.
In October 2023, she collapsed in her home and was hospitalized. She has lost teeth, dealt with frequent infections, and undergone a great deal of medical testing since the original diagnosis. Glanville grasped at straws to explain her medical maladies through 2024 and most of 2025. At one point, she insisted she was confident a parasite from food in Morocco was to blame. She underwent antifungal therapy, skin biopsies, and various other treatments, largely to no avail.

More than two years after Brandi Glanville’s health issues began, she is in much better spirits. In November 2025, she moved into a new home, hoping that a fresh start would help her turn over a new leaf. It may have actually worked. TMZ caught up with the former reality TV star recently, and she was in a decidedly chipper mood.
Glanville told the outlet that after years of increasingly alarming medical symptoms, she finally has a diagnosis that she is confident in. Glanville refused to share her official diagnosis on the spot, but told the publication that she’s confident that she is on the mend. Still, Glanville admitted the journey is likely to be a long one. She did note that she’ll eventually share her story. While she didn’t say it, it seems possible that she’s jockeying for a return to reality TV to tell her tale.
