Bravo fans have been clamoring for a redo of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, and they are finally getting it. During BravoCon, the network announced that the series, which was paused partially due to litigation, would be reimagined. They announced that The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip would air on the network soon and promised plenty of drama from familiar faces. While the title has changed, the premise and promise remain the same. The network has just dropped the cast, and it seems like they are delivering on that promise. The trip will include some very famous and very divisive housewives.

Bravo has changed the name of ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip’

During BravoCon, the network introduced The Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip as a reimagined Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Since then, they have opted for a completely different name. The series has officially been retitled, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.

It appears the new title aims to capitalize on the franchise’s landmark anniversary. While it’s hard to believe, the very first Real Housewives installment premiered way back in 2006. The first episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County aired in March 2006. New York City and Atlanta installments followed in 2008. In 2009, The Real Housewives of New Jersey joined the network, followed by Washington D.C., Beverly Hills, and Miami installments. In 2016, the network decided to add even more cities to its lineup, with The Real Housewives franchise expanding into Potomac, Dallas, and Salt Lake City. The Real Housewives of Dubai became the network’s first international installment in 2022. The Real Housewives of Rhode Island was announced in 2025.

The cast has also been announced

There have been more developments on the upcoming project than a simple name change. Bravo has officially released the cast list for the special season. Porsha Williams joined Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this week to help with the announcement. Williams, who recently made waves on The Traitors, will join the cast. Willaims will be road-tripping across the country with Vicki Gunvalson, who is the true original housewife. Luann De Lesseps, from The Real Housewives of New York City, and Teresa Giudice, whose New Jersey antics helped shut down her own installment’s production, have also signed onto the series. Kyle Richards, who is navigating a messy, complicated separation, and Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow have also signed on.

Fans will be watching the ladies traverse the country, making stops in landmark cities. Along the way, they’ll take on guest stars, as well. While we don’t yet know every guest who will appear, Deadline has reported that NeNe Leakes will make her much-anticipated return to Bravo. Leakes left The Real Housewives of Atlanta and later sued the network.

Bravo has not yet announced a release date, but a late 2026 premiere is expected. The series will air on both Bravo and Peacock.
