Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle Split: It’s His Second Very Public Breakup In Just 3 Years

It is over between Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle. Several media outlets have reported that the duo has split after two years together. The announcement comes after weeks of speculation. While neither Earle nor Berrios has confirmed the split, it would not be the first time the NFL star had a two-year relationship end in dramatic fashion. His relationship with Sophia Culpo exploded in 2023 after two years, with Culpo accusing the wide receiver of cheating.

Insiders claim Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle have ended their relationship

Braxton Berrios was absent from the Dancing with the Stars finale on December 3. Berrios had been supportive of his then-girlfriend’s journey on the show from the very beginning, so not seeing him in the crowd shocked some fans. While murmurings of a split quickly spread on social media, Earle tried to explain his absence, insisting that the wide receiver had football commitments he could not possibly get out of, despite injuries that sidelined him for most of the season.

It didn’t take long for insiders to step forward. An alleged insider spoke to People. They claimed the couple had mutually agreed to end their relationship, noting that the long-distance aspect of their courtship was causing strain. Earle’s influencer career is exploding right now, keeping her busy. Berrios is currently playing for the Houston Texans and is mostly tethered to Texas.  

While the insider claims they are still on friendly terms, fans think there might be more to the story. Berrios is known for explosive breakups, and Earle seems a bit too reserved at the moment. Could things get dramatic? It’s possible. Still, the pair has not actually confirmed their split.

The wide receiver has had a dramatic split in the recent past

While Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle’s split seems amicable at the moment, that could change at any moment. He had a previous romance end in epic fashion just a couple of years ago. In early 2023, Braxton Berrios and Sophia Culpo called it quits. While Berrios insisted they just weren’t working out, Culpo told a much different and far less media-trained story. She accused the wide receiver of cheating on her and breaking her trust.

He denied the allegations, but fans were quick to point out how quickly he was spotted looking very cozy with Alix Earle. He was seen with Earle within weeks of his split from Culpo, making it seem pretty obvious that a “third party’ was involved, even if they were not the cause of the split. Sophia Culpo moved on by the end of 2023, and dated Michael Stevens until just a couple of months ago. Their “amicable” split was anounced in October 2025.
