Brooklyn Beckham Pictured Wearing $160,000 Gift From Father David Beckham Amid Family Feud
Brooklyn Beckham surprised everyone when he publicly spoke about the feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Reports of their family rift go back to 2022, shortly after Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, tied the knot. But nothing was ever confirmed until January 2026, when out of nowhere, Brooklyn decided to take to his Instagram Stories with a lengthy statement about what he says went on behind closed doors as a member of his famous family.
According to David and Victoria’s oldest son, “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
He added that for his father’s 50th birthday in May 2025, he and Peltz “were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him. He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner. When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face.”
Brooklyn was recently seen wearing something from his father though that some have interpreted as an olive branch to David.
Hello! reported that the eldest Beckham child was spotted on a date with Nicola on Valentine’s Day and was sporting a rose-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus watch worth £120,000 ($160,000) on his left wrist.
Brooklyn has called the timepiece his “favorite watch” and one he brought to America with him when he moved, telling Esquire, “That’s my favorite watch. My dad bought that for me for my 21st birthday. I bought two watches with me (to the U.S.) My Patek and my Rolex Yacht-Master II.”
Now, many fans have opined that Brooklyn wearing that watch while out in public with his wife could be his way of sending some sort of olive branch to his father.
Prior to Brooklyn’s public statement, Cruz Beckham shared that his brother blocked him, along with his other siblings and parents on social media.
Still, Cruz seemingly tried to send a peace offering to Brooklyn recently by sharing a throwback photo of them as children with Romeo, perhaps thinking someone would alert Brooklyn that he posted it. In the photo, Brooklyn is smiling and has his arms around his little brothers.
Their younger sister, Harper, also sent love to Brooklyn with a Valentine’s Day photo of herself in a pool with her siblings, writing, “I love you all so much words can’t describe it.”
In his bombshell statement about his family feud, Brooklyn insisted, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.” However, many remain hopeful that they can work things out and there will be a reconciliation in the future.
The Cloud23 creator did not attend Cruz’s 21st birthday party on Feb. 15, which was held at The Maine in London.
