Cardi B seemingly confirmed that she and Stefon Diggs have ended their relationship. Rumors of problems in their relationship have circulated since the Super Bowl. While she has not directly stated that she and Diggs ended their romance, comments she made during a concert certainly made it seem that the couple is not in a good place. Still, she defended him against a dig made by BIA.

Cardi B commented on her relationship with Stefon Diggs during a recent concert

Cardi’s song “Pretty & Petty” from her latest album, Am I the Drama? takes a dig at rapper BIA.

“Name five BIA songs, gun pointin’ to your head (Head) / Baow, I’m dead (Grr).”

BIA recently responded to a clip of Cardi performing the song on tour with a shot at Diggs. The wide receiver faced backlash from Cardi fans for welcoming a child with another woman shortly before Cardi gave birth to their son.

“Can u name someone with more [baby mamas] than receiving yards?” BIA wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I can! and I know that… [you know what, never mind.]”

Cardi responded to BIA’s post in a recent stop on her Little Miss Drama tour.

“Just because I ain’t f***ing with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy. This is for you, b****,” she said before performing “Pretty & Petty.”

Stefon Diggs discussed proposing to Cardi B shortly before split rumors circulated

Cardi supported Diggs throughout his season with the New England Patriots. She celebrated his win in the AFC Championship Game, and many speculated that she would be at the Super Bowl to cheer him on. Just one week before the game, Diggs even hinted that an engagement was on the table.

“It’s on the agenda, maybe,” Diggs told reporters, per TMZ. “Right? Right? I gotta get mine first, though.”

One week later, Diggs did not get a Super Bowl ring after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Patriots. It also seemed apparent that he and Cardi were no longer considering marriage. The couple unfollowed each other on social media, and Cardi’s pre-game message to him was chilly. When asked if she had any words of inspiration for Diggs, she offered a detached, “Good luck.”

She said he helped her heal from her relationship with Offset

Cardi and Diggs began a relationship after she ended her marriage to Offset. She said he wanted to help her recover from the tumultuous relationship.

“One time, he just told me. ‘Let me heal you. Give me a chance for me to heal you,’” she told CBS News. “And it’s like, ‘Okay.’”

She felt that she and Diggs were a good fit for each other.

“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she said. “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going it and that’s just what we are.”
