Cardi B Feels Bad That She ‘Killed’ and ‘Buried’ BIA in Their Feud
Cardi B’s feud with BIA led to her writing the song “Pretty & Petty’ about her. They have been feuding since 2024, and Cardi said the final straw came when BIA mentioned her children on a diss track. After performing “Pretty & Petty” at the BET Awards, Cardi told people that they shouldn’t bully the other artist.
Cardi B wrote a song about BIA
Cardi explained that she decided to release the song “Pretty & Petty” after BIA mentioned her children on the diss track “SUE MEEE?”.
“You mentioned my kids tryna be cute,” Cardi said on The Breakfast Club. “She did her little diss and it was trash… I could’ve [left] it at that, but everything on social media is gonna be seen. When my kids grow up one day and they see that you mentioned them, they’re gonna ask me, ‘So what you said? What you did [in response]?’ I’m not gonna tell my kids, ‘I felt like she took the high road cause she lost, cause people wasn’t on her side.’ Naw, I’m not sayin’ that to my kids. I’m [gonna be] like, ‘You see how I violated?”
On “Pretty & Petty,” Cardi insults BIA’s career, music, and appearance.
“Name five BIA songs, gun pointin’ to your head (Head) / Baow, I’m dead (Grr).”
Cardi B recently told fans not to bully BIA
At the BET Awards, Cardi performed a medley of songs from her album Am I The Drama?, including “Pretty & Petty.” Afterward, she got on social media to tell her fans not to go after BIA.
“Please don’t pick on that girl,” she said on Instagram. “I am very big against Internet bullying. Unless my fans have to… But if somebody’s not bothering me, and I feel like she’s not bothering me, I don’t want to be the reason why somebody gets on the Internet and has a bad day or gets depressed or feels bad or feels like the world is against them. Because I really went through that before.”
While she doesn’t regret making a diss track, she said she does not need to continue insulting her.
“All these b****es, blogs was against me…” she said. “I do like teaching b****es a lesson… But after a while, I’ll kill you and then I feel bad that I killed you and buried you… You really f***ed with me, so I had to do that. But yes, I’m not going to stop performing the show… If somebody don’t f*** with me, I don’t want to keep f***ing with them, ’cause it gives bullying. And I’m really not a bully unless I have to.”
She shared why she didn’t include a diss track about Cardi
BIA has not yet responded to “Pretty & Petty.” She shared why she didn’t include a response on her debut album BIANCA.
“This isn’t even about her,” she said on The Breakfast Club. “It’s not to say I don’t have a response, but… where I’m at right now, that was a year ago.”
She said she did not want to make her album about Cardi.
“I would be doing a disservice to myself with everything I’ve put into this album [by] making it about her,” BIA said. “There’s so much more importance to my message and what I’m here for than to rap beef.”
Still, she noted that she could drop a diss track at any point.
