On the heels of her appearance during Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl Halftime Show, there’s talk that Cardi B could be the next artist to headline the NFL‘s big game.

This comes after the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s fan page on the creator platform Fanvue went down for several minutes on Feb. 11 as Cardi announced she’s giving fans the chance to win tickets for her Little Miss Drama tour.

Cardi directed her fans to the site for a chance to get free tickets for her new tour before it was completely sold out and they did just that, which caused the site crash.

According to one expert, this shows that Cardi is on track to have her “most successful tour yet” and also puts her name in “contention for a Super Bowl halftime headline slot” in 2027.

Kayley Cornelius is a celebrity PR specialist and brand strategist, known for her expertise in media, pop culture, and influencer culture. She specializes in crisis PR, traditional PR, celebrity branding, and brand reputation, advising on reputation management and public perception. Cornelius’ commentary and analysis on celebrity branding, reality TV stars, influencers, and high-profile relationships have been featured in the New York Post, OK! Magazine, Elle, the Daily Mail, the BBC, and more.

Cornelius explained that “Cardi B’s latest move is very on brand as she’s once again shown up for her audience in a big and unapologetic way. Fresh off appearing at one of the largest stages in the world, the Super Bowl, she’s timed this perfectly to extend the new wave of publicity that has come her way.”

The PR expert also insisted the ticket giveaway site crash has been “gold dust” for generating a buzz around her tour on social media, pointing out, “Cardi B’s ticket giveaway on Fanvue also comes at a time when artists are constantly under scrutiny for ticket pricing, giving tickets away for free isn’t just generous, it’s strategic and makes a bold statement.

“She’s not just selling a tour, she’s creating an experience and making access a part of the story. And the fact the giveaway shut down her page on the Fanvue platform has created the kind of digital chaos that is gold dust on social media.”

Cornelius also opined that instead of seeing the “WAP” hitmaker during a dance number in the Super Bowl again next year, we may see her headlining it, saying, “It’s very possible that Cardi B could be on track for her most successful tour yet. The momentum is building, the narrative is strong, and most importantly, her fans are engaged and invested.

“With this level of buzz, she could easily find herself topping charts again, and it’s exactly this type of cultural dominance that keeps her in the frame for major stages. Don’t be surprised if this run puts her firmly in contention for a Super Bowl halftime headline slot of her own next year.”
