Cardi B Said Stefon Diggs Offered to ‘Heal’ Her After Offset Split
Cardi B and Stefon Diggs are in a relationship following the acrimonious end of her marriage with Offset. Cardi said she’s happy in her new romance, and the couple is currently expecting their first child together. After so many years with Offset, Cardi admitted it was scary to get back in the dating pool. She said Diggs offered to help her feel more comfortable.

After ending her relationship with Offset, Cardi admitted she felt trepidation about getting in the dating pool again. It made her feel like she was a teenager again.
“So restarting again, yeah,” she told Gayle King for CBS News. “And being open. And vulnerable.”
Diggs offered to help her as she navigated a new relationship for the first time since 2017.
“One time, he just told me. ‘Let me heal you. Give me a chance for me to heal you,’” she said. “And it’s like, ‘Okay.’”
She’s excited about her new relationship.
“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she said. “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going it and that’s just what we are.”
She said the end of her relationship with Offset was painful
Though Cardi is glad to be moving on with Diggs, she admitted that the end of her marriage devastated her. She felt as though she was going through withdrawal.
“It almost felt like what people experience when they go through withdrawal, and like, they’re throwing up,” she told Kelly Rowland on Spotify’s “Countdown To Am I The Drama?” “Like, I felt like I was withdrawing love.”
She said she knew for a fact that she was done with the relationship, but this didn’t do anything to ease her heartbreak. She struggled to even leave the house.
“And I’m not even trying to sound exaggerated,” she said. “I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, I can’t think, I can’t work, I can’t even look at my kids’ faces because it’s like I just want to cry just looking at them.”
She filed for divorce in 2024.

While speaking glowingly about her relationship with Diggs, Cardi also revealed that she’s expecting a child with him. Fans have speculated about this, but she kept it a secret until now. She hadn’t even told her parents.
“I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time?’ Like, I’m not hiding,” she said. “On my time, on my own terms. Let me close some deals first, you know what I’m saying? Let me close some deals first. And it’s like, you don’t really want to say right away that you’re pregnant. It’s like, ‘Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.'”
She’s looking forward to welcoming a child with Diggs.
“I’m happy,” she said, adding, “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
