Cardi B Threatens ICE With ‘Bear Mace’ if They Come to Her Tour
Cardi B does not want ICE anywhere near her tour. The rapper launched her Little Miss Drama tour, her first-ever headlining tour, on Feb. 11. As she spoke to audience members, she told them she would “jump” ICE if they tried to interfere with any of her shows.
Cardi B told her tour attendees she would protect them from ICE
Cardi kicked off her Little Miss Drama tour in Palm Desert. Before launching into her song “I Like It,” she addressed her audience.
“Guatemalans in the building? Mexicans in the building?” she asked. “B****, if ICE come in here, we gon’ jump they a**es. B****, I got some bear mace in the back. They ain’t taking my fans, b****.”
Cardi recently spoke about ICE before Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show. She was on the field with him, along with other celebrities like Pedro Pascal and Karol G. She praised him for speaking out about ICE, likely in his recent Grammy acceptance speech, and noted that she was “standing strong” with him.
The rapper has been outspoken about politics over the years
Cardi has been vocal about her politics for years. In 2019, she helped Bernie Sanders campaign, and she supported Kamala Harris in 2024. More recently, though, she said she has started to hold her tongue, as she’s not sure her words will change anything.
“I know the White House watches my stuff. I have a big platform. I know they listen to what I say,” she told Billboard. “I might not say it the prettiest way, but I know they listen to what I’m saying. There’s a president that knows I’ve never supported him and it’s like if I say something, he’s not going to care. I tried to give people warnings and it is what it is. What I can do? What I can say?”
Still, she wants to raise her children to be politically engaged.
“I hope they take that trait from me,” she said. “You always have to be aware of what’s happening to the world and what’s happened before, because things really do repeat themselves. Maybe not something drastic like a world war, slavery, or the Holocaust, but there’s always shady s*** going on. I just want them to always be aware of what’s going on and what could happen.”
Cardi B is on her first-ever tour
Cardi’s Little Miss Drama tour is her first-ever headlining tour. While she released her debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018, her pregnancy prevented her from touring. When she released her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, in 2025, she promised fans they would be able to see her live.
“I’m actually really great because I was a stripper. (Laughs.) But no, I think my personal tour is not going to be like any other performances that I’ve ever had,” she said. “From the aesthetics to the look to even the way I perform, I’m going to be doing things that I don’t normally do, like work out, because I want to be the best.”
Cardi will tour across the United States and Canada until April 18.
