Following the New England Patriot’s embarassing gameplay, Cardi B unfollowed her boyfriend and the father of her youngest child. Some fans think it was a long time coming.

Cardi B looks like she’s ready to drop her man now that the NFL season is over. While Cardi was at the Super Bowl in San Francisco, she had her phone out and ready, it seems. According to Page Six, Cardi B dropped Stefon Diggs from her Instagram follow list, and he did the same. The action was noticed after the team’s painful loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Instagram activity isn’t the only thing sparking breakup rumors, though. According to several outlets, Cardi B left the game early and decided to enjoy Bad Bunny’s performance from inside her car. She didn’t hang around to see how the game unfolded and certainly wasn’t on the field to offer condolences to Diggs when the game was over. It seems the only reason she was at the biggest sporting event of the year was to fulfill contractual obligations.

While Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have presented a united front in recent weeks, with the singer appearing by Diggs’ side during playoff games, some fans think it was all for show. Diggs has had a very complicated year off the field. While his team has been supporting him, fans think Cardi B likely has had enough.

In late 2025, a private chef filed a lawsuit after Diggs allegedly assaulted her over a dispute about her salary. Cardi B, once again, defended her man. A new lawsuit, stemming from a 2024 incident, was filed days before the big game. It might have been the final straw for Cardi B. Fans are awaiting a statement from her.
