Radziwill recently revealed that an ex-boyfriend tried to source her personal videos of her late husband in an attempt to land the role of him in Love Story.

Ryan Murphy’s Love Story is a cultural phenomenon. While the series, loosely based on John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette’s romance, has taken New York City by storm, it also has a fair number of critics. Several members of the Kennedy family have spoken out against it, and Daryl Hannah has been especially outspoken about how the series has negatively impacted her life. Now, Carole Radziwill has revealed that the series opened some old wounds for her, too. She just shared that long before the series premiered, the project brought an old flame back into her life, albeit not in the way you might think.

During a chat with the New York Times, Radziwill revealed that an ex-boyfriend called her to inform her that he was auditioning for the role of her late husband in Love Story. Radziwill had not been informed in advance about the series. The ex, whom Radziwill chose not to name, even asked her to provide videos of Anthony Radziwill to help him better capture who he was for his upcoming audition. Radziwill admitted the call, the request, and everything that has happened since has been a bit of a shock.

Who has Carole Radziwill dated since her husband’s death?

Carole Radziwill opted not to name the actor who requested tapes of Anthony Radziwill. The admission, however, has everyone curious about who the mystery man could be. While the New York City-based widow has dated a few men since Anthony’s 1999 death from cancer, she does keep a pretty low profile. The man in question was someone she dated briefly; he does not appear to be one of her more prominent beaus.

Carole Radziwill married Anthony Radziwill in 1994 after they met at work. The Kennedy cousin successfully battled testicular cancer before he met and married his bride. That same year, the cancer returned as sarcoma. He died in 1999, just weeks after JFK Jr. died in the plane crash. He was 40. The cousins had been close. After Anthony’s death, Carole dated George Clooney briefly in the early 2000s. She later dated Adam Kenworthy from 2014 to 2017. Her romance with Kenworthy made headlines, though he didn’t turn out to be the one.

Since then, Radziwill has dated, though she’s been keeping things quiet since she walked away from The Real Housewives of New York City. She does prefer the company of younger men, but she hasn’t been spotted with anyone recently. The identity of the ex who auditioned to play her late love will likely remain secret. The part, however, was played by Erich Bergen. There is no known connection between Radziwill and Bergen, an actor best known for his stage work.
