Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are married!
The couple tied the knot at the Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara, California, on Sept. 27. They said “I do” in front of about 170 guests. It was a star-studded affair with many of their famous pals gathered under large white tents out of the view of cameras and prying eyes for the evening reception.

Gomez shared a carousel of photos from her special day for fans to see via social media. Some of the stars who were on hand to witness her big day included fellow singer Ed Sheeran and Gomez’s bestie, Taylor Swift. Both artists are believed to have given speeches at the wedding reception.
Other celebs in attendance included Paul Rudd, Ashley Park, Drew Barrymore, Camila Cabello, Lily Collins, Cara Delevingne, FINNEAS, SZA, Zoe Saldaña, and Paris Hilton, whose sister accidentally confirmed the heiress would be attending in an interview earlier this month.
Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building costars Amy Schumer, Martin Short, and Steve Martin were also there. The latter two are thought to have given speeches as well.
The actress’s other Only Murders castmate, Meryl Streep, was a no-show. She reportedly had a filming conflict in her schedule, which forced her to miss the event. Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, was also absent as he was back in Kansas City, preparing for the Chiefs’ game against the Baltimore Ravens the next day.
Gomez’s mom addresses controversy, reveals who walked her daughter down the aisle
Leading up to the big day, many fans wanted to know who would be the one to walk the songbird down the aisle. Would it be her father, Ricardo, or her stepdad, Brian Teefey?
The bride’s mother, Mandy Teefey, revealed who did in a post she shared on Instagram. Turns out it was neither. Instead, the person who had that honor was Mandy’s father, who is Gomez’s grandfather. Some speculated that Gomez’s mom was upset that she didn’t pick her to walk her down the aisle, but that’s a notion Mandy called “ludicrous!”
In her post, she shut down that noise by gushing over the wedding, writing, “What a perfect celebration for the most kick a** couple I know! The evening couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect! Absolutely flawless! … It was a fairytale come true and it was beyond heartwarming watching my father walk her down the aisle!!!”
Gomez had previously shared that she wanted to do something for her grandfather since he never walked Mandy down the aisle because she and Brian eloped.
“He never got a chance to walk my mom down the aisle because — good for my mom — she decided to go to Vegas and was like, ‘Whooo,’” the pop star explained during the Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast. “It’s very cute that they did that, but I wanted to give my grandfather the opportunity to have that.”
