While Sean “Diddy” Combs had a great deal of celebrity friends, most have distanced themselves from him following his arrest. The allegations against Combs are serious, and few people want to be associated with him. Still, there are some people who have spoken up in Combs’ defense. Here are the celebrities who have thrown their support behind the mogul in some way.

A handful of celebrities have defended Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

The majority of Combs’ friends have remained quiet on the subject of his arrest. Still, a handful of people have spoken out in his favor. Mase, a Bad Boy rapper who had a rocky relationship with Combs, said he’d visited him in prison.

“I mean, if my name was on the list I’d go visit Puff,” he said on the It Is What It Is podcast. “I would visit him, make sure he was good.”

He added that Combs “didn’t do all bad, he did some good.” Boxer Floyd Mayweather took a similar stance. While he did not condone Combs’ behavior, he said on The Pivot Podcast that “mistakes happen” and he wouldn’t speak badly about the mogul. Singer Akon also said he trusted God would handle the situation and encouraged people to pray for Combs.

Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson took a more firm stance in Combs’ defense.

“I love this brother he’s been nothing but kind and generous towards me and that’s the way I feel,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Praying and praying for more of a better outcome of all of this is happening. God bless you Diddy if you ever need to call me and just need a listening [ear] I’m here bro.”

Singer Jason Derulo also noted that he believes Combs is innocent until proven guilty. Kanye West has been one of Combs’ most vocal supporters. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), he begged Donald Trump to release Combs from jail and expressed his love for Combs.

Some celebrities are reportedly worried about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest

Many celebrities attended Combs’ parties, which have fallen under sharp scrutiny after his arrest. According to actor Daniel Baldwin, some people are nervous that they will show up in video footage. He alleged that people are bidding over party footage.

“He has videos — he has videos of the parties,” Baldwin said while on the PBD Podcast. “Now, what I heard — which, I don’t know how much of it is in mainstream media. I don’t really follow the story that much. But, what I’ve heard from friends that are attorneys of friends of mine that have represented me before, agents, so on, there’s a bidding war going on right now. They’re driving that price up, because if you want your client, a famous actor to not be involved, or a famous singer, to come out, here’s the price. And they’re just selling to the individuals who are in those. This is what I heard! They’re selling those videos.”

Sources say many celebrities left Combs’ parties before a certain hour to avoid the alleged “freak offs.”
