Who is Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Jake Browning’s Fiancée, Stephanie Niles?
Jake Browning has been with the Cincinnati Bengals since 2021. He won the job to back up starting quarterback Joe Burrow in 2023. Since then, his number has been called multiple times to come into the game whenever Burrow has been injured.
That was the case during the second game of the 2025 season as well, when Burrow went down against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a turf toe injury. It was later revealed that Burrow would have surgery and miss at least three months, leaving Browning to start in his place.
Now that the athlete is playing under the big lights in Cincy for the next few months, fans want to know more about his life off the field and who he’s engaged to.

Niles was born in Hong Kong and raised in Shanghai
Browning’s fiancée was born in Hong Kong, and her parents moved to Shanghai a few years later.
Niles told Authority Magazine that her mother had her at “Matilda Hospital, the only medically sufficient hospital within a ten-hour flight radius. My mom tells me that when my parents were exploring places to give birth in Asia, they went to hospitals where hundreds of women were all in the same room, [lying] on mats in excruciating labor. When I was three, my family moved to Shanghai, China, where I attended various local and American schools … I have very vivid memories of my childhood in China.
“I realize my upbringing was different than most of my friends. Apparently, not having seen a hot dog until I was 12 is an affront to the American childhood.”
Niles came to the U.S. in 2005 when her parents relocated to Seattle. In 2018, she attended the University of Washington to study accounting, and that’s when she met Browning. They began dating in May of that same year, and got engaged in November 2024.
Niles previously went viral for her game-day outfits
Niles is the co-founder of 7th Street Swim, a luxury swimsuit brand based in New York City. The idea for the brand came about during the COVID-19 pandemic to “celebrate the city’s resilience and bring the city girls to the beach.”
Niles has gotten noticed for attire that doesn’t just include swimwear. She has actually gone viral for some of her game-day outfits.
One example was in January 2024, when Browning closed out the last game of the Bengals’ regular season as the starting quarterback and she was seen in an all white bodysuit.
“When you’re in the box, you can not tell if the camera is on you,” Niles shared with Before the Roar about the pics that made the rounds. “I’m happy they captured something that was not totally embarrassing. But, yeah … did not expect that level of reaction.”

Cameras caught the signal caller grab his wife-to-be’s hand as he exited the field at Paycor Stadium.
“That’s the first time he’s ever looked at me,” Niles gushed about him finding her in the crowd via her Instagram story. “No seriously I’m crying.”
