Taylor Frankie Paul rose to fame on TikTok for her dramatic life and soft-swinging scandal. Years later, she’s still serving up scandals, but this time they have legal and professional repercussions. The reality TV star is under investigation for domestic violence. The fathers of her children are also considering legal action. Paul’s ex-husband, Tate Paul, and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, were both spotted at a Utah courthouse this week, and that’s probably just more bad news for Taylor Frankie Paul.

Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen were at the same Utah courthouse recently

Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen have finally been spotted out and about since news of a domestic violence investigation and the cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul’s The Bachelorette season broke. Where they were spotted, at the exact same time, is pretty interesting, too. It seems to spell trouble for their infamous ex.

Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen were spotted interacting inside a courthouse in Draper, Utah, on March 18. Both men have been romantically linked to Taylor Frankie Paul and share children with her. While the men were seen together at the courthouse, they did not arrive together. They coincidentally filed for legal protection at the same time.

According to Cosmopolitan, both Paul and Mortensen appeared in court to seek protective orders against Taylor Frankie Paul. Little is known about Tate Paul’s filing, but Mortensen is reportedly seeking protective orders for both himself and the two-year-old son he shares with Taylor. Tate Paul, who has kept a low profile since his 2022 divorce from Taylor, shares a son and a daughter with the reality TV star.

Taylor Frankie Paul’s professional life is in peril, too

Taylor Frankie Paul’s personal life isn’t the only thing in turmoil at the moment. While the investigation is ongoing, her professional life has hit a rough patch as well. The entire domestic violence investigation kicked off after an incident while filming The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. While details are sparse, we do know the incident made the production team and other cast members uncomfortable.

Hulu opted to put filming on ice, allowing the cast to take a break and recuperate. Mikayla Matthews spoke about the situation on Instagram. Along with pausing filming on SLOMW, ABC decided to pull Paul’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette. The decision was made after a video of a 2023 domestic incident surfaced. That incident was public knowledge, but the actual video had never been released before.

It is unclear where Paul’s professional life will go from here. While ABC has made a final decision on the star, Hulu has not yet issued an official statement on her future with SLOMW.

This is a developing story.
