David and Victoria Beckham Mock Meghan Markle and Their Son Brooklyn in New Video
It’s been public knowledge for some time now that David and Victoria Beckham are no longer friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And over the last several months, it’s been reported that David and Victoria had a falling out with their son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Following the news stories about the Beckham family rift, came a report that the Sussexes invited Brooklyn and Peltz to a “secret” dinner party at their Montecito home.
One source told The Sun, “Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a ‘deep n’ meaningful’ as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers — the women to tear apart their husbands’ families. Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her, and said there was shared common ground. They didn’t meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence.”
While Peltz and Meghan may share a similar experience, Brooklyn and the former Suits star are known to have something in common as well. So David and Victoria seemingly decided to poke fun at them in a new video.
David can make and market his own jam too
One of the first products Meghan marketed from her As Ever line was jam, which was said to have been “inspired by the recipe Meghan crafted in her home kitchen.” The duchess then sent 50 jars to a select group of celebrity friends to help market the fruit spread. The Beckhams’ son is also big on jam. In fact, Brooklyn recently shared a social media tutorial of how to make your own. And apparently, David makes his own as well.
Victoria Beckham posted a video on her Instagram Stories of her husband doing just that.
Victoria is not seen in the clip but can be heard talking to David, and at one point she quips: “So we’ve had a weekend of cooking … Well, you have, I’ve been watching! You’ve been making lots of jam, and look what you’ve made — David Beckjam! He’s very proud. How many Beckjams have you mad,e darling? You’re quite the entrepreneur.” To which David replies that he’s not an entrepreneur just for doing that.
Some took that as a direct dig at Meghan. But an insider told the Daily Mail, that recording David making jam seemed to be a jab at Brooklyn too, saying, “Victoria has got a very wicked sense of humor. I think the jam video is aimed at Brooklyn, for sure. I think Victoria, in her voiceover, may also be having a pop at Meghan.”
One fan commented, “Meghan and Harry must have really p***ed off a lot of people — David Beckham spent an afternoon in his kitchen, cooked up some plum jam, and was infinitely more watchable than that ‘With Love’ nonsense.”
What else David and Meghan have in common
Something else David and the Duchess of Sussex have in common with David is beekeeping and making his own honey.
David has been involved in that since 2020, when he started his honey-based snack business.
The Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) is a bee lover too. One of her longtime hobbies is beekeeping at her Anmer Hall home on the Sandringham estate.
