Denise Richards’ Ex Aaron Phypers Reveals Huge Debt While Pleading for Spousal Support
Aaron Phypers has no income, but he’s got a lot of bills and a ton of debt to address. The estranged husband of Denise Richards filed new paperwork imploring a judge to grant him spousal support as his divorce from Richards drags on. Phypers laid out exactly how much he is spending each month and what kind of debt he has accumulated, and it’s pretty unbelievable.
Aaron Phypers outlines his debt and bills in a new legal filing
Aaron Phypers was back in court asking for spousal support. This time, he submitted paperwork that included a long list of his current debts and his expenses, so a judge can see he is literally drowning financially as the divorce drags on. According to Us Weekly, which obtained a copy of the filing, Phypers is almost $1 million in debt. Phypers claims he owes an admin company $250,000. He also owes Tom McCormack $230,000 for a personal loan he financed, and has a bill for unpaid rent for multiple properties, totalling $300,000.
While Phypers’ debts sit unpaid, he’s amassing even more bills. The former actor admitted he is renting a property for $15,00 per month right now. He allegedly pays over $4,000 per month for food and $1,300 per month for a cell phone plan. Phypers says he spends $5,500 per month on utilities. He needs an additional $61,000 per month for debt-related payments.
How much is he asking for in spousal support?
Aaron Phypers is hoping that his soon-to-be-ex-wife’s money will keep him afloat while they iron out their divorce. While Phypers has requested spousal support, a judge has yet to rule on the request, and no set amount has been attached to the case. Still, Phypers did tally up his bills in a recent filing, which likely means he expects Richards to cover his living expenses in full while they work through the legal system to part ways.
While there is no set formula for spousal support, the courts will often grant temporary spousal support to ensure one party is not significantly financially disadvantaged during the proceedings. Phypers could very well fall into this category. While no set amount has been requested, Richards could be on the hook for $100,000 per month, based on the bills Phypers says need to be paid immediately.
Does Aaron Phypers have a job?
Aaron Phypers is still racking up debt as we speak, likely talking on a cell phone he claims costs him $1,300 per month. Does he have an income? Phypers is not currently employed. The former reality TV star once owned a practice called Quantum 360 Club. He practiced frequency medicine through the company, which operated out of an office in Malibu. He shuttered the business in 2024.
Phypers also previously worked as an actor. He had cameos in several projects, and was part of the Bravo universe, but all of that has ended now. In a separate court filing, Phypers admitted he has no income since shuttering his business in 2024. That, apparently, has not changed. It is unclear whether the former alternative medicine practitioner plans to find employment or open a new business anytime soon.
