Aaron Phypers says Denise Richard and Rudy Reyes had an affair

Aaron Phypers doesn’t care how messy his divorce from Denise Richards becomes. Phypers is throwing out all sorts of allegations, but one of the most interesting is an alleged affair that he says Richards had with the marine mentor she worked with on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. In an open letter to friends and family, Phypers claims his soon-to-be-ex had a long-term affair with Rudy Reyes.

According to Page Six, Phypers claims he found hundreds of explicit messages between Richard and Reyes. Phypers said when he confronted Richards, she denied anything nefarious was going on and pledged her love. He accuses her of continuing to carry on the affair through a secret phone number. According to the letter, the alleged affair was going on in late 2024 and early 2025.

While Phypers’ very public crash-out is not making him look great, fans are taking note of the affair timeline he’s provided. It could give some insight into what happened between Reyes and Struck.

The timeline fits

Neither Rudy Reyes nor Denise Richards has commented on Phypers’ allegations yet. Struck hasn’t weighed in on the situation either, but fans are now examining the timeline to see if Phypers’ claims align with the demise of Reyes and Struck’s romance. Based on the timetable he’s provided, an affair between Reyes and Richards may have led to the demise of Reyes’ engagement.

Phypers, in his open letter, claimed the former co-stars had a six-month-long affair. He previously claimed he discovered the affair earlier in the year, which would suggest Reyes and Richards were hooking up while he was still dating Struck. Whether his ex-fiancée also discovered the affair and that led to their split is anyone’s guess, though. We won’t know unless one of them confirms it, and for now, everyone besides Phypers is staying quiet.
