Law Roach basically broke the internet recently when he quipped that fans and followers “missed” Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding. Zendaya’s longtime friend and stylist insisted that the pair had already tied the knot in a super secret ceremony. While we could totally believe that the low-key couple pulled off the ultimate private wedding, there are reasons to believe Roach might be playing a bit. A comment Zendaya recently made suggests she might not be a Mrs. just yet.

Law Roach claimed Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding already happened

Law Roach, Zendaya’s longtime stylist and friend, made headline news during the Actor Awards red carpet. While walking the carpet, he was asked about Zendaya’s planned wedding look. He was quick to state that the wedding had already happened and that everybody “missed” it.

Pressed further about whether he was being serious, Roach doubled down, insisting he was serious and that Tom Holland and Zendaya’s wedding had gone off in secret. Roach’s statement was further bolstered by Zendaya appearing in photos wearing a gold band that could be a wedding band. It would be on brand for the couple, who basically announced their engagement by having Zendaya show up on a red carpet wearing an engagement ring.

Zendaya kind of walked back that statement

Zendaya popped up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 16, after appearing at the Oscars wearing a gold band. While she was there to talk about her career, her relationship and possible marriage were obviously a hot topic. Zendaya joked around with Kimmel about the AI-generated images that have circulated, purportedly showing the couple’s nuptials. During the banter, Zendaya might have clued the world into the fact that she is not yet wed.

During her chat with Kimmel, Zendaya revealed that “many” loved ones were angry after seeing the AI-generated images of her and Tom Holland’s wedding. She said several people believed they had not been invited to the big event. If loved ones were angered by the notion that they hadn’t been invited, one could theorize that the wedding hadn’t yet happened. Otherwise, those loved ones would not have been fooled, as they would have been at the real event.

While there are clues peppered throughout the interview, Zendaya has not yet confirmed or denied that she is already married. She and Tom Holland have been exceptionally careful about preserving thier privacy and will likely continue to do so. We may never know when they tie the knot.
