Diddy’s 1st Fort Dix Holiday Menu Has Been Released
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was transferred to FCI Fort Dix ahead of the holiday season. While this isn’t his first holiday season behind bars, it will be his first inside the New Jersey institution. Despite early reports of trouble, the rapper is settling in nicely. Now, Diddy has a holiday menu to look forward to. Diddy’s Thanksgiving and Christmas plans have both been made public.
Fort Dix is serving up a special holiday menu
Diddy will enjoy the holiday season behind bars for the second year in a row, but his surroundings are a bit less bleak than they were in Brooklyn. He has settled into Fort Dix ahead of the holidays, smiling and looking relaxed in leaked photos. He also has a couple of specialty meals to look forward to.
TMZ obtained the holiday menu at Fort Dix, and it looks like Diddy will have some decent food for celebratory purposes. While the facility isn’t offering a holiday breakfast for Thanksgiving, the cooks will go all out for dinner. Inmates will enjoy a traditional turkey dinner, along with mashed potatoes, corn, and other sides. Dessert will also be offered, though it’s unclear what sweet treat will be served.
Christmas Day will bring cornish hens to the dinner trays of the facility’s residents. Potatoes, dressing, and vegetables will be served alongside the hens. Breakfast will, once again, be basic, with inmates expected to fuel their morning with cereal and bread. They’ll celebrate New Year’s Day with another special meal, but this time, inmates will have a choice to make. According to the outlet, they can ring in the holiday with fish or beef. Vegetarian options are also available.
The holiday meals at the Metropolitan Detention Center weren’t much different
While Diddy will spend his holiday at Fort Dix, it won’t be his first behind bars. His previous holiday menus at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn looked pretty similar to what he should expect in the dining hall at Fort Dix. Last year, he enjoyed turkey with several sides and a choice of pie for Thanksgiving lunch. The facility offered a large holiday meal around lunchtime, with inmates getting a dinner of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the early evening.
MDC served cornish game hens for Christmas dinner last year, just like Fort Dix will offer this year. The same sides were cooked up, too, but breakfast on Christmas Day at MDC was a bit more generous. According to several outlets, Inmates enjoyed a specialty cake to kick off the holiday. The big Christmas meal was early in the day at MDC in 2024. Dinner was light. It is unclear if the facility offered a special celebratory meal for New Year’s Day, though we know Diddy rang in the New Year in his cell.
Hopefully, Diddy enjoys what the federal prison system offers for holiday food, as he’ll spend the next few years eating it. Diddy has an expected release date of June 2028, which means he’ll spend at least three more holiday seasons, including this one, behind bars.
