Does Margaret Josephs Have a New Reality TV Home?
Margaret Josephs was ready to turn in her Bravo credentials after seven seasons on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but she’s not ready to step away from reality TV entirely. Josephs isn’t returning to Bravo, but she’s been spotted filming, and rumor has it she has a couple of shows in the works. She apparently could pop up in The Golden Life, based on her current filming schedule.
Margaret Josephs spotted filming again
While Margaret Josephs and Bravo have absolutely bid farewell, she never said she was leaving the spotlight entirely. As soon as Josephs made it known that she was not returning to RHONJ, fans began speculating about where she would land. Land, she apparently has.
According to Bravo and Cocktails, Josephs was spotted filming alongside Luann de Lesseps, which has the rumor mill in full swing. Speculation is rolling in about her connection to The Golden Life, the E! series featuring several original cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City. Josephs and de Lesseps were spotted dining together, though the context remains unclear.
The Golden Life isn’t the only show she’s rumored to be attached to. Rumors are also swirling that she’s attached to an Amazon project that promises to offer an “Eat, Pray, Love” style trip with several famous faces, including some Bravo castoffs. The series doesn’t yet have a title, and Josephs has not confirmed she is involved. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised.
Why did Margaret Josephs leave ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’?
The Real Housewives of New Jersey had finally gotten season 15 greenlit. Still, they are moving forward without most of the cast. During the lengthy pause, Bravo reevaluated the cast and sent several significant characters packing. Margaret Josephs is one of those cast members.
In late March, Josephs revealed that she had been in talks to return for another season, but opted out after realizing it was time to move on. She said she wanted to focus on spending more time with her family, but later noted that she didn’t wish to continue filming in a “toxic environment” and that she was excited about what was to come. Rumors have it that Josephs refused to film alongside Luis Ruelas after he reportedly took their drama a step too far.
The Golden Life isn’t the only show she’s rumored to be attached to. Considering Josephs is currently entertaining multiple reality TV series, it seems the desire to spend more time with her family wasn’t actually behind her departure.
