Emily Ratajkowski Seen Getting Cozy With Rumored New Romance
Emily Ratajkowski recently debuted a new romance with a PDA-filled outing in New York City. On Nov. 9, the model, actor, and writer stepped out with director Romain Gavras. Ratajkowski and Gavras both looked blissfully happy as they held hands on a walk through the city streets.

On Nov. 9, Ratajkowski, 34, and Gavras, 44, stepped out publicly together, apparently for the first time. Ratajkowski looked effortlessly cool in a brown leather trench coat with fur-lined sleeves, black jeans, and black and white sneakers. Gavras wore white sneakers, a navy coat, and a baseball hat.
The new couple couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They held hands and cuddled close while walking, and kissed against scaffolding.
Ratajkowski said that after she entered her 30s — and ended her marriage — dating got easier for her.
“I really wanted to be chosen. It was hard for me to go on a date with someone and think about how much I did or didn’t like them. I would have been thinking about how they were perceiving me, what it meant, what they wanted from me, what it meant about my self-worth,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I don’t have that anymore. So now it’s really fun to go to dinner with someone and be like, ‘Cool. I really enjoyed these parts of them. I really didn’t like these other parts.'”

Before his date with Ratajkowski, Gavras was in a relationship with Dua Lipa. The pair began dating in early 2023, and their relationship fizzled out sometime later that year. Before dating the “New Rules” singer, Gavras was in a relationship with singer Rita Ora. That romance ended due to their work commitments.
“Rita and Romain tried to make it work but they both agreed it wasn’t meant to be,” a source told the Daily Mail. “They remain close but it was simply impossible to maintain a relationship where they barely saw each other. And given both their busy schedules for 2021, the writing was very much on the wall towards the end of last year.”
Ratajkowski has previously been linked to celebrities like Eric Andre, Pete Davidson, Harry Styles, and Shaboozey.

Ratajkowski’s love life makes headlines, but she stepped out of the dating pool in 2018 when she married producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. The pair share a son, and divorced in 2022. Ratajkowski noted that her life changed dramatically after marriage and parenthood.
“After having a child I found myself accepting what was happening,” she told Vogue. “I never cooked, and suddenly I was not just cooking but also being the breadwinner while simultaneously organizing our social schedule and being the primary caretaker of our child. I’m really interested in the decisions we make in our lives, particularly as women.”
She said that her child ultimately influenced her decision to leave the marriage. She didn’t want him to accept mistreatment from others.
“There are strange, cemented ideas around what things touch a child,” she said. “A lot of them are about how the mother reacts to behavior that is totally unacceptable from a man. It falls to the mother not only to endure this behavior but also to keep her child from it. That horrifies me. I eventually found that if I demonstrate self-respect, my child is likely to have self-respect.”
