He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.”

After seeing what Kate and Camilla wore as they welcomed the Macrons, Stanton explained the significance of their dress colors.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “We’ve got some great moments of interaction between the king and queen, William and Kate, and Macron and his wife. Kate is wearing the color salmon, which is to do with vibration with communication and friendship, while Camilla is wearing a vibrant green, a color of renewal and growth.

“They are almost subconsciously showing a strengthening of the relationship between the U.K. and France. Psychologically, that is what the significance of those colors means.”

What the expert noticed about the royals’ interactions with the Macrons

Stanton also broke down what he observed from the Prince and Princess of Wales as they interacted with their French guests.

“William is always very genuine and his body language is always very authentic,” Stanton noted. “When the two men shake hands, they instinctively put their free hand on the other’s upper arm. This denotes deep respect, rapport, and a genuine sense one man is welcoming another.

“Facially, William is displaying very authentic smiles. He is genuinely happy to be receiving Macron. We often see masking smiles between politicians, with no laugh lines or crow’s feet at the side of their eyes which means it’s a fake smile. With William, it was a very genuine welcome, both men smiling genuinely. There was matching and mirroring in their body language, with both men facing each other. The handshake was also mutual, no signs of any power gestures. It was a reciprocated action. They couldn’t demonstrate any greater level of respect for each other.”

The expert added, “From the facial expressions, Kate was in good spirits. She was very happy to interact with Macron and his entourage, showing genuine smiles. Nonverbally, we see lots of handshakes and genuine smiles. The way everyone is interacting with each other is all very positive.”
