Garrison Brown’s death by suicide in March 2024 rocked the Brown family. The aftermath of the 25-year-old’s death has just played out on Sister Wives, and fans are applauding the family and TLC for their honest approach to a dark and tragic topic. Garrison’s death isn’t the first suicide that members of the Brown family have navigated. Robyn Brown and David Woolley have both lost family members to suicide.

David Woolley’s wife died a decade before he met Christine Brown

David Woolley, the husband of Christine Brown, opened up in a rare emotional moment about the death of his first wife. While Christine and David met on a dating app in 2022, he had been single for a decade after his wife’s sudden passing.

Woolley said that he had a difficult time following his wife’s suicide. He revealed that he carried a lot of guilt in the years after her death. While Woolley didn’t offer many details, he did say telling his kids about their mother’s passing was incredibly difficult. Woolley and his first wife, Margaret, shared eight children. They were married for more than 20 years when she died.

Robyn Brown’s brother also died by suicide

Robyn Brown also had experience with a family member dying by suicide before Garrison Brown died in 2024. In 2017, Robyn’s younger brother, Paul Sullivan Jr., died suddenly. He was just 22 years old. While his obituary did not provide details on his sudden passing, the U.S. Sun reported that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to police reports, the Utah Army National Guard’s girlfriend found him deceased in his apartment in Utah.

While the Brown family was several seasons into Sister Wives when Paul Sullivan Jr. died, Robyn opted not to mention it on the show. She did not mention his passing on social media either.

Where is Garrison Brown buried?

Garrison Brown’s death remains a raw and challenging topic for not only the family but also Sister Wives fans. The openness of the family and the raw emotion displayed during recent episodes of the series have been praised by viewers. While the footage viewers have seen was filmed after Garrison’s death, it is still substantially older than the present day. By now, the 25-year-old has been laid to rest.
