Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s companion and co-conspirator, is back in the news. Not much was heard from Maxwell following Epstein’s death. Now, she resurfaced after allegedly spilling the tea on some of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates. Her prison life is being scrutinized after the convicted sex trafficker moved to a new prison that is considered one of the nicer options in the system. She’s not the only famous inmate behind the walls of the prison camp, either. A Bravo celebrity is also serving their time there.

Ghislaine Maxwell moved to a prison camp in Texas

Ghislaine Maxwell was quietly transferred from FCI Tallahassee, a low-security federal prison in Florida, to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, on August 1. While the move was supposed to be kept quiet, it has been anything but. Controversy and backlash came quickly. Technically, Maxwell, convicted of sex trafficking, should not be eligible for a federal institution like FPC Bryan, which generally houses non-violent criminals with less than 10 years to serve.

It’s unclear exactly why Maxwell was moved. The Daily Beast reported that Maxwell was allegedly transferred to the prison after threats and safety concerns at her previous institution. Before moving to FPC Bryan, Maxwell was serving her time at FCI Tallahassee. The Florida institution is a low‑security federal prison with a long history of subpar infrastructure and safety issues. Maxwell was the most infamous inmate at the location during her time there.

Ghislaine Maxwell is sharing space with Jen Shah these days

Ghilsaine Maxwell’s move to FPC Bryan has created a lot of buzz in the outside world, but the inmates at the prison camp are not unfamiliar with high-profile prisoners. While Maxwell is certainly considered a high-profile convict, she’s not the only famous face currently behind bars at the facility in Texas. Elizabeth Holmes and Jen Shah both call FPC Bryan home.

Jenn Shah, formerly a star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, was transferred to the prison camp after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Shah initially entered a “not guilty” plea in 2021, but later changed her mind. Investigators linked Shah to a telemarketing scheme that targeted elderly and vulnerable populations. A federal judge sentenced her to 6.5 years in prison. Her release date has changed, though. The Bureau of Prisons now plans to release her on November 3, 2026. Shah was not initially slated for release until 2029.

Elizabeth Homes, on the other hand, was sent to FPC Bryan after being found guilty of conspiracy and wire fraud charges. Holmes will serve 11 years behind bars. The charges stemmed from her involvement in the Theranos scandal. Holmes initially spoke of the “hell” of living in prison. She seems to have settled in and found a friend, though. People reports that Holmes and Shah have struck up a friendship and regularly work together to tutor inmates studying for the GED exam.

It is unclear whether Shah and Holmes have encountered Ghislaine Maxwell. It is unknown if she has been integrated into the prison’s general population yet.
