What’s Going on With Damson Idris and Lori Harvey?
After calling it quits in 2023, Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have given plenty of indications that they are back on.
The model and British-Nigerian actor were first spotted together in late 2022. They went public with their relationship shortly after that and made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Snowfall‘s sixth and final season on Feb. 15. But it didn’t last as they announced via a joint statement in November 2023 that they decided to split.
They’ve been seen together a few times since, and now their recent appearance at the Golden Globes has people talking and coming to one conclusion.

What the two were seen doing at the Golden Globes
In their 2023 statement about their breakup, the two told The Hollywood Reporter, “We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”
Almost two years later though, fans began buzzing that they may be dating again when they were seen in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico together and holding hands in Miami a few months later.
Then, to everyone’s surprise, Idris and Harvey attended the Golden Globes and were captured holding hands while cameras rolled. That PDA moment seemingly confirmed what most people thought: that they have rekindled their romance. It’s one thing to be low-key on a secluded beach or in a villa where celebs can enjoy some privacy, but it pretty much broadcast “we’re back together” if you’re holding hands in front of just about everyone in Hollywood at an event as big as the Golden Globes.
How Much Older is Idris than Harvey?
Harvey was born on Jan. 13, 1997, in Memphis, Tennessee, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of Marjorie Harvey and the adoptive daughter of Steve Harvey. It’s been reported that her biological father is a man named Donnell Woods.
She began her modeling career in 2015, and in 2021 launched the skincare line SKN by LH. As for her other ventures, Harvey was in the music video for Usher’s track “Glu,” has her swimwear brand Yevrah Swim, and starred in Peacock’s mini-series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
Harvey celebrated her birthday a few days prior to the awards ceremomy and did so with some sultry swimsuit shots via Instagram. The carousel of pics featured 15 images with the caption: “Sweet & salty.”
Idris was born in South East London to a Nigerian family of Yoruba descent on Sept. 2, 1991, making him five years and 4 months older than Harvey.
Idris studied drama at Brunel University. After graduating, he continued working on his craft and training at Identity School of Acting in London. He appeared in British television shows such as Miranda, Doctors, and Casualty from 2013 through 2015. But he’s best known for his later roles in the crime drama Snowfall and the Netflix sci-fi Outside the Wire.
