Who Is Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Christian Watson’s Wife, Lakyn Adkins?
After playing college football for the North Dakota State Bison, Christian Watson was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He began his pro career catching passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers and is now one of Jordan Love’s targets. He’s also missed a lot of playing time due to multiple injuries.
In his first year, Watson suffered a minor knee injury that required surgery and caused him to miss most of training camp. However, he was able to suit up for the regular season. He eventually tied with Jahan Dotson and Kenneth Walker III for most touchdowns among all rookies. In 2023, he started the season with a hamstring injury and had to sit out several regular-season games. Then, in 2024, he suffered a non-contact injury in his right knee while running a route and was carted off the field. It was later determined that he tore his ACL.
Watson returned to the field in October 2025, making his season debut in a Week 8 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

How Christian Watson and Lakyn Adkins met
Lakyn Marie Adkins was born in North Dakota in 1999. She attended her local high school before enrolling at North Dakota State University and majoring in health sciences. There, she met Watson.
Watson and Adkins became college sweethearts in 2017, after the then-freshmen were introduced through mutual friends at an NDSU football game. The two have been together ever since.
When did the Packers receiver marry Adkins?
In April 2022, Watson asked Adkins to marry him, and she happily accepted.
They tied the knot on April 5, 2024, at the 40-acre Stone Mountain Estates in Malibu, California, in front of 85 guests. Some of those in attendance included singer Jordin Sparks and Watson’s teammates Romeo Doubs and Jordan Love.
The bride wore a satin Celine dress by Rime Arodaky, which featured a strapless bustier with pearl details and a high-slit wrap skirt. Watson rocked a custom dark green tuxedo by Alba and Alexander McQueen shoes.
“Being married means being with the partner you chose for the rest of your life and building a family together and growing old together — it’s just you two taking on life together,” Adkins told People. “We are huge homebodies and love to have dates at home, like movie nights, cooking dinner, or having takeout brought in. We have a relationship that is so unique to who we both are.”
Her proud husband added, “We are team for life,” and she “lets me be me and do all of the things that I enjoy. Spending time together at home is one of my favorite things.”
How many children do Adkins and Watson have?
Adkins worked as a cosmetologist for a time, but now she’s focused on her role as a mother.
In June 2025, Adkins and Watson announced that they were expecting their first child together.
They welcomed their son, Keaton Christian Watson, on Sept. 12, 2025. Since his arrival, they’ve had fans gushing when they shared a few sweet snaps of their baby boy via social media.
